I love this concept! But if I'm purchasing recycled trashed sneakers I then feel some type of way by paying premium prices. The recycled product should be cheaper since it's technically made from already worn shoes.
Lenox C makes no sense. The cost is in the production value not the material.
But if you watch the video it isn't made from worn shoe. But the excess shoe material like nylon, rubber etc.
Just because the sneakers are recycled doesn't mean the material isn't still premium. They're basically making completely new materials out of the old ones by grinding them up.

Here’s a few ideas...
1. Bring the space hippie project to the product line that gets destroyed the fast. Nike running. Space hippie X Pegasus 38!?
2. Offer a promotion through Nike Run Club that if you run so many recorded miles (~100-200miles) in a pair we’ll give you a generous discount towards a new pair if you recycle them back to Nike. 60% recycled shoes for 60% off to runners AND you’ll get R&D samples.
The problem is the recycling process is even more expensive; more resource and energy demanding and causes even more polution. 😧😥🏭
