Veloz also has the Safety Sense, albeit w/o adaptive cruise control but with 360 cam, which the VX don't have and the Stargazer the smart sense. You should also include the Xpander cross in the xpander's pricing because basically it is the TOTL xpander, which rivals the VX. With the cross included, xpander and brv is almost at par as far as pricing goes. But yes, BR-v's price is a bit steep, specially considering the car category. But you get what you pay for, especially the honda sensing, which most competitors dont have, xcept the veloz and stargazer
I would say that if you want a more non boring looking MPV your better bet would be the Xpander Cross or XL7. I do get you that the transmissions on those vehicles tend to have them a bit more raucous on highways but the fuel economy on the XL7 is on par with this. For me the price difference for ADAS isnt warrented and I would choose the Xpander Cross over this. Honda just makes thier cars too expensive these days.
This is so far the BEST BRV car review ive seen/watched, compared to other youtuber car reviews, every details he's telling to us makes sense. I just cant control myself to comment on this, because your so good sir. Keep it up! Salute!
We have this car po, and basta i-sagad lang yung temperature and fan blower speed, kayang-kaya niya pong palamigin yung entire cabin in a short period of time kahit nabilad pa po sa tirik ng araw sa tanghaling tapat.
I did mention the other competitors in the video, which are 7-seater MPVs within roughly the same price bracket. That would include the Xpander, Livina, Stargazer, Rush, Veloz and Livina. BTW I never said that it was overpriced.
Really informative review! It is impressive, but i have a hard time justifying the 7-seater since we're just a family of 2 with dogs for general city driving. Am I better off with the 2023 Hatchback or lining up for an HRV? Am even considering the Ford Territory or VW T-cross at this point. PS going thru all your other videos now, I really like your content style! very straight to the point. :)
Thank you. If you don't need a 7 seater, then all the vehicles that you mentioned are a much better fit for you than the BR-V. If you don't need the extra seats and space, The Territory Ttianium X and the HR-V V offer much nicer interiors, a lot more features and a lot more power
@@jaywalkur appreciate your response! More and more I’m leaning towards the Territory X. Love the tech + look + Ford is still a good reputable brand despite tons of haters under youtube comments. Hoping there’s available units and no ungodly waiting list like the HRV or Corolla cross.
@@logmeinhere thanks for your suggestion really appreciate it. But how about the all new territory. It looks so good but do you think reliability is still questionable?

Fuel economy is really impressive.
Correction: There's a typographical error at 12:14. The price of the Xpander Ranges from 1.07 million to 1.198 million, not 1.98 million.
The V should be good enough...too bad it doesn't get the paddle shifters... very convenient when trying to overtake.

@so1.6308 the guys at top gear Philippines actually put that to the test, it didnt come out on top, the Stargazer did, just saying.
Does the VX have low speed follow like the HRV? I've been looking for reviews but couldn't find one.

does the vx in the philippines have acc low speed follow as in magagamit sya sa heavy traffic?
yes
No. Only for HRV. The acc has a minimum speed to work. 70kph I believe.
The car's a complete mess. You can try tidying it up before shooting the car review.
The only thing i like in the new brv is the exterior, too aggressive for me.
Xpander owner😂
Will we see a 2023 mazda cx3 sport and mazda 3 base variant? :) love the vids
Your review is kumpletos rekados.
no turbo for 1.4m
Xpander cross or brv for your own liking?
Why ksi its ugly joke😂✌🏻
Lods Jay, kumusta aircon nito? Malamig po ba kahit tirik araw? Lalo sa 2nd and 3rd rows?

Not attractive shape
nissan calibre-X next please..
Over priced from which vehicle competitors? And compare the power from its competitors

Great review! But which one would you recommend, BRV VX or Kicks VE? I'm curious about the performance difference as well.
@@jacobrongavilla1978 7 vs 5-seater. Both good options, I'd gladly take the Kicks if you don't need the extra seats.

Do they really have an almost 2M Expander 12:14?
Sorry that was a typo. That was supposed to be 1.198 million
Great review!
Very well said🥳
Nice review bro!
Thanks
Yep, overpriced... :D
121horsepower? Honda should be ashamed.
If 121 horsepower is something to be ashamed of, then those 104 horsepower MPVs should be thrown away to trash instead.
Then what about the 2023 latest model toyota avanza E variant? It only has 96 hp, its a lot worse
what a dumb comment lol
