    I really love that Xpander GLS I actually got one , I think it got the best look compare to it's category rivals according to my taste.
    It looks like a Montero Jr. but got a nicer back in terms of the rear signal lights!
    The engine runs so good!
    Even in heavy traffic you only need to step on the break no need to step on the gas coz it runs on its own!
    Thanks AutoBuzz!!!

  • @silverelgrandlow6298
    @silverelgrandlow6298 2 года назад +9

    One thing that many failed to mention is that the BRV has a middle row footwell that is odd shaped in the left and right. The left is lower and much more comfortable, while the right side has a fuel tank underneath the driver seat, forcing you to sit knees up. The Xpander has nothing like this and the seats are way nicer.

    This is really close comparison.
    I think Xpander have better AC...driven Brv up genting, power is good but AC almost full blast. In Vietnam in2019, booked Grab and ride on Xpander, mild setting but pretty cold. Seated 6 pax but the pull on flat road seems alright in city drive. Actually pretty close competition among two for me. Driver will appreciate the BRV power but all round comfort seem to be Xpander but driver nd to sacrifice driving a bit.

  • @shahnasramli

    Saya beli untuk wife..Good safety rating. (For its kind)..Fuel economy is extremely good...Keta ni design for city commute, and light offroad, unpaved road or may be jalanraya lama..so not for speeding ya...So no need 6 airbags ya. not a high way speed cruising speed vehicle but ok drive at average speed of 10-150km/j... but best under 120km/j.. it use SOHC by the way.( it is not for speeding on highway or a track car🤭🤭😁)..thats why u see it dont use 4 brake disc instead using 2 brake disc and 2 brake drums.... it can be drive for fun purpose or may be shopping/groceries or need space for some items to be transport, or may be need to go for picnic (human transport). but not meeting the comfort level for traveling more than 4 hrs continously.(others may feel ok for more than 4 hrs..me.. no..but i had made some ajustment to the seat, head rest, arm rest..) This car has limited storage n compartment. .well the seats are not for that purpose.. Even luggages space is small.well yes it has roof box rails.. which increase wind resistant and fuel ..but its fit for outdoor activities purpose or short trip that required extra carrier ..its design for short trip for fun... love this car very much .. practicality on daily use meet my family purpose (family of 7). Its segment B which has very low maintenance cost which give you less hassle and headaches plus this car will do better than other segment B car but lesser than a compat MPV but still serve as a mini suv. Incredibly its really do all these 3- city, small MPV, mini/light suv cross over..
    Buy car that meet your purposes🥰🥰.. a car that can fit 7 people + rooftop carrier is not design for speed.. a segment B car which can fit 7 people..well you know what i meant..may be Xpander will slightly meet the expectation..
    For my wife use.. 5 stars.. i got MPV by the way
    My only comment for BRV is no 360 camera view. Well it has blind spot at far end right left and center.(front).So hard to predict when you try to park your car..

    Xpander just announced that they will be having the hybrid engine in the coming next generation.
    Don't think Unta BRV will go for it which by the way it looks cheap skate on the interior especially the folded down 3rd row seats which looks like a dumb design.
    Mr Mah, you forget to introduced that the Xpander has the telescopic as compared to Unta BRV - nil.
    Mr Eu Jin, both vehicles are MPV which were designed for family comfort driving not for racing, what's the point of those little paddle shifters installed on the 1.5L engine !
    Despite this is the BRV's facelift model and yet there are so many things that needed to improve but still nothing as you have pointed out on the BRV.

    Petrole variant won' t get any response. But if Diesel variant is launched between Rs 1 to.5 million ON ROAD price, then ,it will surely rule the Urban market of MUVs.
    Right and sensible or what we can say market penetrating pricing will help Mitsubishi to grip in Indian market of passenger cars.

    i own BRV for 4 years now and i have never regretted my purchase. 2 airbags only? big deal. practice defensive driving at all times. and BRV is meant to be driven at appropriate speed not like a typical felali. 3rd seat row has adequate space for a typical adult. But i wished newer gen of BRV could have an AUTO CRUISE function instead of paddle shifters.

    I've been driving the facelift brv for over a year now. The handling feels good. It accelerates better than most others in this segment. Driving is easy and very enjoyable. Feels stable and grounded at high speeds.
    But here is what I really don't like.
    - getting over speed breakers/bumpers feels stiff.
    - gets very noisy, esp on highways.
    - the seats are not comfortable as compared to cars in similar categories such as Toyota rush or Xpander.

    In Indonesia, BRV is one of the least selling honda here. It actually got really crushed by Toyota Rush and Xpander. Honda could actually really do much better for this car. My family've been using BRV for about 5 years, I really like the driving, it's so fun and feels like a hatchback

    I wonder why these days most auto reviews like u guys don't mention fuel consumption, don't you think this is one of the considering factor to choose a car?

    • @davidlls86
      @davidlls86 2 года назад +3

      Fuel consumption Is very not accurate and very subjective in this era.... When blogger or RUclips mention 50%town /cities drive 50 % highway drive, usually they are base in KL SELANGOR, Which the area town drive have may have lesser Traffic lights, wider Road, more lanes, Speed constantly more than acceleration, and these conditions of "town drive/ cities drives" in kl selangor may Consider as "highway drive" for melaka and other smaller cities.

    • @davidlls86
      @davidlls86 2 года назад +1

      When kl people saying full tanks 42litres Can run for 460km or 590kn, But when come to.melaka, due to Traffic lights, junctions, acceleration will be more than constant Speed, at the end Only manage to get 380 km.
      When melaka people saying highway drive, LEBUH AMJ which have more straight Road Can drive more constantly Speed, even thought there are some Traffic lights along the way which require stop and go, But for us, we Consider it as hw drive already, whereby when kl selangor drivers mention hw drive Is which means drive from kl to seremban, melaka, which can more constantly Speed and without Traffic lights for stop and accelerate...
