Been doing custom installs since the mid 1990s, and I always recommend putting a sheet of sealed-cell foam between the license plate and the body to help stop annoying buzzing. Also, if you can, install sheets of sound deadener on the inside of the car, under the carpet and behind the interior paneling, because it helps make the bass sounds so much better.

My suggestion switch to the Rockford Fosgate you will get more power on the lows and get a different amplifier,anything but planet audio brand, the amp’s are junk . for the highs and mids
What would u guys recommend....im currently building a 3 cube down firing center console. WilI have 2 to 3 inches between floor and woofer. I have 2 12in Gothics and 2 rzr2500 amps, I also have 2 12in jbl 1000 subs. 250rms each but great quality sound. May use those later for under seat biuld. I'm still debating between either 1. Single gothic 12. Downfiring, ported to 30hz with port facing rear of cab. I'd then use the 2 rzr2500 amps. 1 amp per voice coil witch would be 900rms watts at 4 ohms! Or do 2. Use both Gothic 12s downfiring, then keep enclosure sealed and use one amp per subwoofer. Would then be 650rms watts at 2 ohms each subwoofer. I love anything rebassed, 28-35hz. Deep bass u can feel. If I do the single set up..... I can look for 2 more rzr2500 amps and do another enclosure behind this one. Except second enclosure would be sub firing to rear with port facing up. If you guys have any other thoughts or tips. I would sure appreciate them. Thanks!
I was reading the site about that box they tune those boxes kinda high like up near 40 hz if you want to kill some lows get some scrap wood and glue and make that port longer and try turning that box different directions you may be too close to the back cutting off you ports output just helping

I would do the 2 Gothics firing to the rear with port facing up bro. But its whatever you prefer, what ever option you chose the subs go preform..

It will still play the lows just fine, just not as loud, but still plenty loud.
I hooked one of these up 1 ohm on a skar 1200.1 an smoked it out first song
I have 2 Gothics on a skar 2000.1D they hit pretty good. They surprised me!!
