just told her to let a couple months go by and see what the overall sales would be.... ended up being top 5 (normally top 2 or 3) in company for our electronics department in sales for the next 4-5 years when i worked/was in charge of the department

The first questions were and "Whats your credit card number, name and birthday?" My answer was "You are the psychic you tell me." Knowing she was busted she said I was closed up at the time and recommended I call back when I am "open to reading".

I used to work with a special needs boy of about 10 years old. Take him out to do things in the community etc
We would go to parks and on walks and so on. He would do something incredible. He would walk up to people, other kids or even people much older than himself. He would look them right in the eyes and say “follow me” with pure confidence that they would do so. He wouldn’t even wait for compliance, he would just turn and go, knowing they would actually follow him. Perfect strangers following a special needs boy around the park, simply because he told them to do so 😂
That kid was a genius!
It’s possible they were being kind and just humoring him.

I've dabbled in cold reading. As a party trick for amusement. Interestingly, being wrong after gaining the person's trust can actually convince them you're legit more. Because they subconsciously don't want to be proven wrong so they justify and explain it off for you. The trick is to establish near perfect to perfect trust in your "powers". Like an abused woman convinced her abusive husband loves her. It just seals the deal more.

I used to be an avid watcher of long island medium on tlc. Even my 13 year old brain could tell that the people on the show were probably actors. I have had a girlfriend for about the same amount of time that I have had income. I swore off women at the end of 2018. These videos help me see that I didn't need a woman to be something that I am proud of. At the end of 2019 I had a little over 20 grand in my checking account (I was usually overdrawn, or didn't have more than $1000 at any one time, pre 2019. I also learned a language and got a promotion.
The biggest obstacle is getting past the "Thinking about women while you are horny", which I have got to an art form of excusing myself to bathroom, working one out, and I am good to go. As long as you can control your Horniness, you can control yourself.

I love the aestetic of healing crystals and psychic mediums, because even if it may be fake, the closure and "placebo pill" affect can genuinely help people sometimes.
Now i can agree people take a huge advantage of this and abuse those people in need of the closure, but sometimes going to a hippie shop and buying some "healing candles" and rocks for under 10 bucks can make you feel a lot better.

When I knocked on the door, a "psychic" comes to the door and immediately starts her bs sales pitch with "I can see that something has brought you here. Your energy tells me it is something big" I just responded with "well it is a mid sized sedan, so it isn't that big. I came about the car." Annoyed, she looks at me , hands me a card, and says "It belongs to my son, here is his number", and slams the door in my face.

In Tiger King, season 2, Don Lewis' daughters hired a psychic medium, he claimed he has found numerous bodies of missing people, but I watch a lot of crime documentaries, and I see multiple detectives saying, "I've never had a physic find a missing person/body."
The guy was so vague, lead them to an alligator-infested lakeland, as if they will ever be able to search it.

It's kind of a shame, I think "psychic" abilities can be impressive but you have to understand that it's a trick to be truly impressed. No different than sleight of hand. I know you aren't actually producing the quarter out of nowhere, which is why it's so impressive that I can't immediately see where you got it. That takes skill.

When she mention a donkey and then Shrek and the Mexico it was more obvious than ever. She was fishing so hard she made it sound like she was talking about something specific when she had just mentioned and animal, a movie, and an entire country/ culture and the girl still didn't have any connection. That must've been scary for her. Lindsay's twin grandmother saved her. That being said I do believe in some kind of spiritual connections, to nature perhaps. I just believe anyone with that kind of connection doesn't exploit it. I think my girlfriend is one of those people.
