You get hated in India for making content in English. Even though the vast majority of Indian channels are Hindi/Hinglish, they'll still demand, rather rudely sometimes, that you speak only Hindi.
I just believe speaking hindi will attract Indian people more. But when you do it in English then you attract Indian as well as foreign audience. Just my view.

I have an educational channel and I make videos in both English and Hindi and organize them using playlist.
M sure, foreginers wont be able to understand my accent but still atleast people from south india and people other parts will be able to follow it!

One more point, i think..In english theres globally more competition and it will be more challenging for YT beginners...as compare to hindi..
This is the point no one talks about. The moment you shift to english - the competition goes through the roof. Hence young youtubers cannot compete with them that easily. As compared to local language, in most niches the competition doesnt exist.

I like both language हिंदी & English.
English cpm is almost 7-10times more than hindi
depends where the people are watching it. Suppose u make a video in english explaining how to apply for aadhar card then its going to be less cpm because people are watching in India.
Similarly if foreigner is making a video in english about India then obvoisly less cpm because mostly people are from India who are watching it.
But if you make a video, lets say how to make pizza and its in hindi then indian people will watch it, hence less cpm..but if you make the same video but in english then, more cpm cause foreigners are watching it

Wouldn't it be easier to simply offer BOTH and just have subtitles for the other? That way, you reach BOTH audiences. That's the whole benefit of being bilingual (though, for those that aren't, I know of youtubers that hire translators on something like Fiverr or other places). Especially in today's society, wouldn't multi-lingual youtube videos be most successful because it has a larger target audience?

Please help…I have an educational channel, I started in English and had my viewers from countries like US, France, Saudi Arabia, UK Germany and India, but then I switched to Bilingual and now I have viewers mostly from India only, so everyone please suggest what shall I do???
You should have opened separate channel and mentioned tht you have started a channel with your language. Mixing both is not a good idea becuase you will also loose your English subscbers

🙏 Harih: Om - Very nice video, very nicely spoken without using 'fraands', which has unfortunately become a norm - BTW, India is the largest English speaking nation on Earth - albeit, not many speak it properly or have an 'accent' which is not very pleasing on the ears - having said that, RUclips now automatically adds subtitles to videos, and that would help international viewers. You might consider making a video on that topic.
