Hi! I'm still not understanding how the dioxide has anything to do, regarding transferring!🤔
@@MicheleNishikatsu it works the same as using paint. The gelatin plate resists ink from the magazine page. Lighter areas of the paper absorb the oxide inks and don't show up on the plate, while darker areas with more ink resist the oxide inks and are left on the plate. Hope that helps.😍

@@MixedMediaArtByTrinaalso re-Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pads, are the perfect tool for creating beautifully oxidized designs on various surfaces. These water-reactive dye and pigment ink pads produce mesmerizing results when combined with water. You may like to play with spraying them with a very fine water spray and see what textures you can get.
