It's great that it's being looked after... an interesting piece of history! We went a couple of years ago, so it was good having a revisit - great video, and Danny's drone footage was great too! 😊

Brilliant vid Rob...looks like they are doing some restoration work since last time I went which was on the guided tour which really was good...great drone work Danny ...get droning those trigs😂 ...that first field you walked through was my first encounter with a livid bull who took offence at my little dog and me years ago...I chose my walks very carefully now if Peaky comes with me...loved it ...Great Memories ...Cheers Les🙂👍

Cheers, les 👍, yh they were working on roof of winding shed, I'm I right in thinking they do underground tours ? , I've never had any problems with bulls it's always cows🤣

@@overthehilloutdoorsI am not aware they do underground tours ...The surface tours are amazing though and really give an insight into just how dangerous the lead miners at the time and conditions they endured...it's also a site with a haunted history which is the Widows curse that was put on the mine by the wives of the miners who were apparently murdered there...since that curse the mine ran at a loss and was never able to get beyond the constant flooding by water levels and was forced to close...would love to go down one but unless it is a tour arranged by pot holers or cavers I really don't know👍

@lespickering5080 👍 did the curse have something to do with a fire by another group of local miners trying to smoke them out , Think you're right about cavers doing tours
