I bought mine in March. It’s such a cruiser. The V8 loafs along on the highway and it’s the perfect size for nimbleness when passing/merging and of course that glorious engine note 😊
Oh boy, been looking for an IS and RC 350's along with a 24 Camaro. The big V8's are fantastic but for 10K less you get a lot of the same cars with less ins. cost, better gas "regular" mileage rarity and quality. I spend 90% just keeping up with traffic. GREAT video Kirk
i had a rc-350-f sport, and as much as i loved that car, when i lost a stop light drag race to a 4 banger turbo accord, it had to go. i now have an RCF and would never go back. the fuel economy between the two isnt as drastic as you would think under normal driving conditions.
Bought my IS500 in the summer this year. Flew into Missouri and purchased it from the first owner and drove 8 hours back to Detroit. Been really loving it and I'm running the rr racing bazooka exhaust on it and it truly brings out the character of the v8 compared to the stock exhaust.
I miss my IS 500 2023. It held up really well over 5000Miles, fantastic car. The biggest takeaway vs my RC F is the IS 500 has a softer suspension on normal mode and Sport S gets you a bit more nimble and stiff, S+ gets even more hard while Normal in the RC F is Sport S+ in the IS. Ultimately IS will be super comfortable for longer cruises like over 300miles, while RC F is way too stiff its a plus and a minus, plus is RC F chassis is extremely strong. Minus is IS has way too much body roll, it cannot go beyond 150Mph. Brakes are weaker, also IS has 4 doors which is superb for many. Biggest con is lack of leather on a 70K car, it has Auto mirrors finally in 2025 MY. And also the flaw is, bumper sag. It cannot be fixed because Lexus under engineered the chassis for the heavy 2UR-GSE sadly the bumper will sag eventually community fix is only way as lexus TSB is a shame, this company is dead for their future grab these while you can. Aisin A80E is way quick if you control it up 4K RPM range band. RC F has 2 stage pedal too, but the F car is a truly remarkable machine. Like the IS 500, it's a very nice car.
Bought it and sold the Launch Edition when they released the special edition. Incognito color on this 2024. Basically made me pay a premium for one that was standard 2 years later. It’s a great engine and car though.
“Two stage pedal” = “kickdown”. It’s on a ton of cars, but most folks don’t know it’s there. It’s used to force the automatic transmission to “kickdown” into a lower gear.
i didn't even realize it was there until I took mine out to the Florida Keys and pushed the pedal as hard as I could. I was like wait this pedal goes down more haha

It goes both ways, I'll bet. With the M340i, I'd get a much more modern car with better performance, but I'd be missing out on a great V-8 and Lexus reliability.
