Where do you reside , as far as local delivery….you are incredibly talented & patient
Love your work ❤️
@@nadiarahman9464 thank you❤️❤️
Houston metro area, all the way to Galveston!
@@GlendaChavez I live in Dallas Texas . Love how you manage working with the little kid around . I use to be like that when I had little kids
Beautiful!!
@mr man How could she have 'more stained wood' instead of painting it black? When the veneer is so badly damaged that it must be removed, and the base wood isn't good, adding back new veneer over the base wood is a LOT of work and not easy. I would have painted the damaged areas also, just as she did. An outstanding job with very little to work with, so much damage. Well done IMHO
I dig your skills and patience of preserving old furniture that appears to have no future utility, and that soft music brings everything together for a most beautiful finish.
Glad you enjoyed it!❤️❤️
How proud you must be when you take a step back and see your final product. This piece truly was a challenge but turned out beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing.
Its the best part of it all! ❤️❤️ Thank you!
Totally agree, with my lil crafty projects I feel that way and it nowhere near her talent.
When I first saw this dresser, I thought ‘no way’! But you did it again; it’s gorgeous.
You weren't the only one! And I sure doubted it as well! Mostly bc of the structural issue, but glad I found the underlying problem! ❤️😊
Beautiful! You created a beauty out of trash!
You brought this dresser back to life. The stories it could tell if only.... Thank you for all the work you put into, Glenda. Good luck on your future endeavors!
Thank you so much Kathleen! ❤️ I always wonder about the history of these old pieces, and wish I knew it.
That was so labor intensive and a labor of love. Praying your business is a success as you put beauty back into the pieces you do and bring beauty with your peaceful gentle spirit.
So happy to see a lady working with out clove's
It’s beautiful. I love the white washed contrast at the top. My eye wants to see a white washed rondel glued on, down the bottom where the cracked one was removed. This added bit would be like a full stop or little exclamation at the end of a well constructed sentence.
I’ve been restoring/refinishing furniture for 35 years and I have never seen expanding caulk used to hold pieces together. Wow. You did a great job on this piece!
Simply in awe of the work ethic you have; the time you took to restore this old piece of furniture and give it new life. What a wonderful piece of work you created.
Amazing restoration! You were so patient with it & it was so worth it. It turned out beautiful💗your an amazing artist. Congrats on stepping in to full time entrepreneurship
You a true professional I would have hesitated taking the drawer apart. ❤
Thankyou for saving pieces of the past. God bless.
WOW!!!! I can now say I have seen a miracle performed.
GIRL.
you brought that thing back from the actual dead 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and it looks amazing
Unbelievable! The style is like cowgirl boho. So cool.
It looked like it was ready for the bin, can't believe how amazing.
Beautiful for another 100 years. Great job 👍
I had to come back and take another look. I love that you didn’t replace the veneer, but instead gave it a fine finish. It’s gorgeous. 💕❤️💕
Great job! I'm glad I'm not the only one who will go to these lengths to save a dresser.
All I can say is WOW!
I am so impressed with the projects you take on and results you get! Very happy for your future plans and hope to see many more videos and gorgeous furniture like this.
Thank you! I love to continue to learn and expand my skill! ❤️ there will be plenty more!
So glad you kept the decorative piece natural. Beautiful!
What an incredibly stunning piece you have created Glenda! You have taken a neglected thrown away piece and transformed it into one of great value. Amazing work !👍👏👏💐💐
How delightful...
You made her young and oh so pretty again ....🧡
From firewood to beautiful furniture, great job.👍😊
Wooouuuw. Unbelievably beautiful.
Wow! Amazing job!! You totally saved this piece of furniture.
This dresser is so beautiful. You can tell you love what you're doing because you can see the love in your work. Congrats on your new adventure I wish you the very best and may it be successful
Wow, what a difference! Beautiful job. A lot of work.
What a splendid transformation .It's a miracle !!!
You are a joy to observe .
Disassembly (?) I could never attempt doing this carpentry. No knowledge nor energy- but learning from this young woman. She’s going places as far as her learned skills take her.
very beautiful. this was really the only option for this dresser. well. done.
First glance at this piece i thought it belonged in the trash. But you rescued it. It looks awesome.
That foam makes the dovetails look like the corners of gingerbread houses. 💕♥️💕
haha I never thought of that! ❤️😊 Great observation!
I can’t believe it’s the same piece. Amazing job!
Wow I wasn't that excited on the project till you pulled the tape off and put it all together. It turned out awesome. Ty
One word. AMAZING
Wow! I didn’t think there was anyway you were gonna be able to salvage this one! Absolutely beautiful!!
Fabulous job! So glad you have the ingenuity to save that piece from the junk yard.
Fantastic transformation! The black was a great choice.
You did an amazing job! The work was so time consuming and detailed, but you did it the right way. That piece what a hot mess before you started and you brought it back to life. It turned out gorgeous!

Praise for your hardworking and make the dresser look very smashing!!💕😃👍
That’s great news. You have the talent, skills and the thrive to make it happen in this world, Go get it done sister!!
That was a straight up resurrection! I’m so impressed with the new look!
Remarkable transformation! So much work! Amazing!!!!!
Great job on taking something that 99% of people would consider only good for the landfill and giving it a new lease on life. That was a lot of work, but you did a great job.
Wow....you really breathed life back into this. Very beautiful job.
Well when you shared this on the community tab I said I knew you could do it but had no idea just how bad it was. My goodness girl but you had your hands full with this one. What a seriously brilliant job you did on it too. It's certainly been given a new life and instead of heading to the trash - which in fairness the state it was in was really what it was fit for - it will now serve a purpose for many more years to come thanks to you. Bravo.
Yes ! Definitely ! I think the structural issue scared me more than the cosmetic! ❤️ Im glad I was able to save it!
Holy SMOKES!! Absolutely stunning!
That piece turned out beautifully, great showcase of repair and restoration skills. Good luck with your new business!
Thank you so much!❤️
How fantastic! From garbage to a beautiful expression of your talents. Cheers to you. May you continue to be successful.
Magically transformed!
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW VENTURE, BY NO 2022 YOU ARE PROBABLY UP AND RUNNING
Awesomeness!!
I love that it brought back to life for a few more years. It's so pretty!
A second life. Bravo!
I missed seeing this one. The question asked, "Can it be saved?" just made me laugh. I knew you could & would but if asked to me, I would have replied, "The real question is...do I want to save it?" 🤭
Glad you did. So stunning!😊
I am so proud of you!!! It is awesome to see a strong woman taking care of business, being a great Mom, and inspiring all of us. Thank you! Keep up the great work!
This one was definitely a labour of love. It turned out great
With few tools you have done a very good job, thanks for Teach more than one person that whoever wants it can get it whenever they want to.
Wow, what a transformation!
Glenda, you do great work bringing your projects back to life. Just a little note, you shouldn’t glue the drawer bottoms in. As you probably know, wood expands and contracts. By glueing the bottoms in, they wont be allowed to do that, thus adding stress to the rest of wood. Eventually your other joints will give. I hope this tip helps. God bless you, and your family.
Your work is definitely worth while! I LOVE vintage wood pieces, and I LOVE seeing you give them new life. Way to go Glenda! ❤️❤️❤️
That means everything! Thank you Sheila! ❤️
Very very nice... you should be so proud of yourself. 99% of flipper's would have walked away from that piece
Thank you! ❤️Oh for sure! lol Cant blame them, from a business stand point its understandable!
Wow, wow, wow! Love it!
Reviving and recycling furniture, I really believe is a wave of the future. You’ve got the talent to get the job done! That dresser definitely proved that! But I hope you will continue to show your flips on RUclips.
What a stunning difference…it’s just gorgeous 😍🙌
Wow, what an artist you are. Master class.
Glenda! You did a fabulous restoration on that dresser! I love the wood stain, black and the different knobs. I hope you can sell it for a lot of money.
Great finish, i love the contrast of the colours, it looks so sophisticated, would make the home look classy
I loved the result! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Gave this dresser a new lease on life. Well done for saving such a beautiful piece
Wow! I think most people would have walked away from this one! You saved it from the landfill and gave it new life. It turned out beautiful! Great job. 👍
Nicely done Glenda, you do good work and you have the patience to do well. Since you're moving up into professional status a couple of hints from an old painter.
When you're sanding slap your paper, sanding sponge, whatever into your other palm every few seconds. It throws the grit out of it so it's not getting rubbed back into your work. Also use a tack rag after you sand and wipe down to pick up smaller bits of grit that can ruin a good job.
Thirdly, (you may already do this), when you've finished spraying and cleaning your gun, leave the nozzle in the can with the top on in an inch or two of thinners. This will keep the nozzle clean and soften any paint that may be hiding in the airways.
So wonderful that women are doing trades like carpentry! Congratulations on your business. Sending prayers from South Africa
WOW, wonderful transformation! ♥️♥️♥️
I understand why you don’t want to do significant repairs. It can be quite tedious. But I liked the outcome.
Of all the ladies on RUclips who do furniture flipping, you’re probably the most skilled with tools, which is why I watch you. 🙂
Thank you! Im so glad you appreciate it! ❤️ Yes! I think a few sprinkled here and there is all worth it, but not back to back lol
Watching you reimagine furniture is like going to a great concert. The amount of care, knowledge of your craft, and exactly the right tools are such a pleasure. Wonderful job!
My fav videos are when furniture flippers take something that looks fit for the garbage and turn it around and give it new life. Great job!
This piece is beautiful.
Awesome-Great News!!! The dresser turned out beautiful
Wow that’s incredible.
That was an awesome save🥰 Great job!! Anyone else would have thrown it in the trash!!
Stunning.
oh , my Beautiful !!!!!
Absolutely beautiful
You're a miracle worker, it's beautiful
GORGEOUS
Wow! You are the queen! What a beautiful piece. It was a complete mess. You are so talented!
If ever a piece of furniture was silently screaming for someone to save it ... ! 😱
This poor dresser was in agony - but You not only saved it, you restored it's dignity by restoring its usefulness and giving it a beautiful fresh appearance and a new life!
Beautiful job! So glad you saved this piece from the trash. Thanks for showing us how you put this beauty back together. Really appreciate your videos.
Thank you! it always feels good to know it won't end up in the dump anymore! ❤️
Stunning results!
That dresser was talking to you saying save me. You did a gorgeous job.
I have a very similar dresser that I got from my Dad and I messed up some of the veneer myself. Now I know what to do with it!! This looks amazing!
I know this is an older video, but I just happened to stumble across it (again!!) and it is perfect for a waterfall vanity that I picked up yesterday that is in TERRIBLE shape. Mushy particle board at the feet, drawers in pieces, and even the structure that holds the "waterfall" veneer is in pieces. I figured I would salvage what I could and trash the rest, but this video makes me think I might (MIGHT, I say!) be able to save it. We shall see... Thank you for sharing your work!
Wow such care given. Beautiful
I love the contrast of the natural wood with the black. Great job on this piece.
So pretty.
