try singing across several octaves for 60 odd years and see how your voice sounds. McCartney is ridiculously underappreciated in comparison to Lennon, mainly because one had the 'rock n roll' style death and so never grew to age like the other did.
It’s a dangerous thing to say but........there’s no such thing as a living legend. We poke fun at Paul McCartney but hold John Lennon up on a pedestal. We criticize Brian May but worship Freddie. We enjoy Foo Fighters but “if Kurt was still alive”..........
@@andymillsacoustic2180 I don't poke fun at Paul; I don't critcise Brian May; I don't enjoy Foo Fighters, (but that's because I have no idea what they sing 🎶). I don't idolize John Lennon, Freddie Murcery, (but they were great), or Kurt Cobain (unsure of spelling).
His voice is still pretty solid tbh. It has aged a lot, but it has aged well. You can only say his voice is leaving because he was such an amazing singer when he was younger. He still is good. I think it'll take at least 5 years until his voice has actually deserted him.
I'm agree that he aged and is about a legend, however, I'd like to know what does he think if he see this video...what would his awesome funny answer will be?. at the end maybe he's tried in voice because of the many interviews and publicity that has been set for egypt station album or have a problem in throat that got into same time for egypt station
Darkness official That's a good point. Paul would have no sweat tuning things down a few steps like so many of his "contemporaries" do. Or worse, let backing singers take half the load.
I will compliment Paul‼️ I've always loved bass guitar 🎸. While everyone else was in raptures over lead guitar 🎸, I gravitated toward the deeper notes of the bass guitar 🎸 . Paul is great on bass guitar 🎸.

Certainly one of the most versatile voices in rock and roll history...from "Yesterday" to "Oh, Darlin" and everything in between, his vocal talent alone "was" astounding. So, now it's a mere shadow of it's former "self" but after 60 years of pretty much non-stop, it's to be expected. He certainly doesn't continue performing because he needs the $. He just plain LIVES music, loves to share it and is 1/4 (1/5 if you include George Martin) of the greatest thing that ever happened to rock music (and many other styles), since. God love you, Sir Paul, for all you've contributed and still do...just "keep on keepin' on" until you simple can't. And while you will leave us at some point, know that your legendary music and contribution never will.
Love doesn't have to be "perfect".....this is love, "warts and all".....some songs/notes better than others.....it's 2018....all the way from the 1960's !!!!! Enjoy, everybody...."our" Paul is still with us!!!
EC & AD - both bloody well said. So feking what if his vocals aren't as strong as they used to be. Just look at the joy he's bringing his audiences & he can still pretty much sell out any gig. A host of criticisms from people who can't sing or write a decent song!
Paul is fantastic on bass. That bass groove carries the song. I loved the piano ala Franks Mills inspired keyboards. They also managed to get the horn part in. And Rusty Anderson finally played within the song. This song fitted Paul's mature vocals
lucky people who got the chance to see one of the Beatles. I could only listen again and again. and again. i love the carPool karaoke too. i would have cried more if i was there. i was crying the moment i watched it !
For me obladi oblada is an amazing song...i dont think it's the worst beatle's song...i love to listen the bass lines and vocals of this lovelly song...i love to sing along.
El músico más virtuoso de los últimos tiempos, un honor verlo y escucharlo. Mi bajista favorito de todos los tiempos, aun con su voz desgastada es un deleite escucharlo. Mucha vida al maestro Paul McCartney !!!
My youngest son and I watch Macca at Roskilde festival 2015 (find concert here on RUclips) It was once in a lifetime we were 2mtr. from the scene yelling with all songs.. great but, voice or not.. he is still a legend
This reminds me of that sitcom that was on a long time ago called, “Life Goes On!” They even played a portion of this song for the intro. Someone that I don’t know sang it, but ya it was this song.
Sir Paul McCartney just wanted to say another fantastic concert Also on september 27,2018 happy 1 anniversary we sang Let it Be I was in the audience spot light came on me thank you for being so Kind and my compliment after 63 years yes I sound a little raspy And high pitched that's me but you are fantastic voice love it. My wish I see you some time and have a nice chat and sing. Love you warm wishes always hope you read my message it's True and love your Beatles Girl always Lucy Kenney
Rammstein and Beatles are my favourite bands. Both bands include a band member named Richard. And both Richards' sign of the zodiac is cancer and mine is, too. Isn't that great? Greetings from Germany Patricia

Paul McCartney is a music genius and will always be my idol
His voice still sounds great for someone who is 76 years old
OH my god, is Paul 76 years old 😮 He does NOT look more than 61 years!! 😊 He must aged well👌
@@Leyla7292 and the drummer of the beatles Ringo starr look like 40 lol

Abou El Makartany Absolutely agree
Abou El Makartany Paul is really a musical genius. His songs bring us happiness. Thanks to Sir Paul McCartney.
So true

Yeah, I could never get up in Grand Central and sing old Beatle songs I never wrote or sang in the first place!
In hole Scandinavia mr Sir Paul is very appreciated 🙏🥰 Such a talented artist he are!!

when people see Paul it is no longer for the voice, which obviously has deserted him by virtue of age. It is just to see and spend time with a legend.
His voice is still pretty solid tbh. It has aged a lot, but it has aged well. You can only say his voice is leaving because he was such an amazing singer when he was younger. He still is good. I think it'll take at least 5 years until his voice has actually deserted him.

still carries the tune and it is like a grandpa you love, singing to you out of love. his album is number 1 by the way, beating Eminem.

How many missed their train for this secret performance? I would have loved to have seen Paul McCartney. Worth missing the train!

I was just listening to the Let It Be version of Besame Mucho, it's unreal, the guy could even sing opera! It's insane how talented he is!
It's crazy that the same guy who sang Blackbird also sang Helter Skelter! On the same album no less!
I’d just hang out in this train station all day and night listening to him play, idc what I’m supposed to be doing

I saw him live in 2014 and he played this - my favorite Beatles song - and I cried like a baby. The Beatles are a gift.
It’s so nice to see him still playing after all of these years

Paul explains how the song was written/finished on the Howard Stern Show from 2018 I think. A guy named Jimmy Scott bit - funny
If you dislike please don't vote him down just move on.
la versione italiana la cantava Dino

should be "Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face, etc"
won't downvote, but WILL NOT UPVOTE THIS!!!
Hey nerves get the best of us all.
Sorry Sir Paul, all the strain your voice has gone through over the years has caught up to you. Thanks for all you've done!
Poor guy... the voice is gone.😔
I think he flat out trying to keep up with the drums ,Seems to be rushing a bit
Sad
I just wished he'd played Strawberry Fields instead of this Obladiblada thing...
;)
nah
Linda, John, George ... come on Ringo, you're the only one left now who can tell him that this sounds abominable
Weak voice, sir Paul
Not bad for 76, though 😀
Just Francis he's pushing 80...show him some respect.
like a dog that can no longer hunt
Mature vocals? The voice is sadly long gone. It verges on the embarrasing
then dont comment about it and move on
@@noahharrington3038 Well said❗️
ya no tiene voz y esta cancion es de la peores de los beatles. tiene que retirarse.
Cringing. His voice is gone. He should hang it up.
Anyways, the show must go on...
