My uncle was a corporate pilot. Back in 1964/65 his company purchased what I believe was the first business jet. The Lear 23. Once in the '70s he had to take the jet half way across the country for some kind of service. He took me along for the ride there and back. After only flying on commercial jets, it was like a ride in a fighter jet. The thrill of a lifetime for me.
This video convinced me to own a HondaJet. In Flight Simulator 2020.

It was his true passion motorcycle racing. Just saying, he didn't cry when a new accord came off the line. But he did when a CBR 1000 crossed the line in 1st place.

I absolutely knew this aircraft would be a success. its the right aircraft at the right time. Sure, there are larger private jets, but when all things considered, the larger the plane the larger the expense and for what? A little bit more comfort on what really amounts to a short flight. How much money is blown with larger private jets, thats more overkill to what the average Business jet owner intends to use. Of course the idea of an investment is a major factor. But in practical terms, an aircraft like the Honda Jet is all what most people and or companies need. Able to accommodate 5 passengers, single pilot operations if necessary, luggage and sporting a lavatory what more could you want. Its a small jet with big boy features. And if more you desire, make no mistake that Honda will indeed pull the trigger on their larger Honda Jet 2600 concept. A larger variant based on the original Honda Jet, capable of intercontinental flight, and exceedingly efficiencies never seen before in a class of its size. A real game changer. what i find so amazing about this aircraft is that its so good, that not only competing brands like Toyota has purchased a few for both general use, but also their is the rumor that they and other automanufactures are now considering the aviation market. One could argure such a move would be a godsend to the aviation market in that competition would increase sales by lowering costs. And their is a whole lot of markets out their that would love to incorporate such a jet into their logistics.
Its different type of Airplane thats for sure.

I love and hate the idea of touchscreens on aircraft. Yes I know touchscreens are on countless other aircraft, but I like Honda Jet so I am commenting here. I think its harder to use touchscreens but for looks and functionality they are great. Its just that you can feel actual buttons and you have to strain your eyes more to see where you need to press on a screen, just to have to look another couple seconds to make sure you pressed the right thing. But with buttons you can have a sence of feel which helps.
All i can afford is a Honda lawnmower lol

Exactly a person THAT NEEDS the jet. Many buyers get them for prestige or privacy, but they are not essential to the business. For a hotel developer working in multiple cities, this private jet makes so much sense, and is a great value.
