Beautiful, I grew up just outside of Harvard Square late 50' s early 60's. Remember the sounds and smells of all this cool equipment. Thanks

Not sure just who Foster Palmer is but I thank him so much for these. Now, one question, who is the one fool who gave this a thumbs down? One bag of fries short of a Happy Meal.

One has to love the old lanterns swinging on the front & rear of that trolley!

Crazy, isn't it! An ex-horsecar still in service in the Atomic Age (retired 1967). Some honcho at the MTA must have loved her very much...Only in Boston!

I wonder if they were marked for the railroad... I own a Boston Elevated-marked lantern of what appears to be the same model, and NOW I can see how they were used!

VERY neat to see Waverley how it once was! I'd kill to see footage of the area before the grade crossing was eliminated...

Regarding the amazing ex-horsecar #724, serving the Hub from 1884 to 1967, she LIVES ON! Now in the collections of the Seashore Trolley Museum. Talk about a survivor! The Michigan J. Frog of trolleys...collection.trolleymuseum.org/collection/boston/134

I've only seen one of these cars, which was at Boylston Station... it was interesting to see them actually running in this film :)
