Just my two cents, I'm ngl I assumed when reading that line that "the one who came after" meant the 3rd descender and not the 2nd. As in Primordial one, second who came, the one who came after...
I have a feeling the 3rd may have sacrificed their power and may not be dead but that all that remains of their will are the gnosis. Neuvilette assumed remains meant they were dead, but Skirk never expanded that they were dead, just that she didn't know more than that.
Whether they are the traveler from afar who married the seelie or if that is the 2nd descender I'm not sure.
I have a feeling it probably is the 2nd though since just timeline wise the seelies fell eons ago compared to when the gnosis were created so idk if it would track if it was the 3rd anyway.

The Primordial One is not the heavenly principles. It's more likely that Celestia created the heavenly principles when they took over Teyvat and changed its laws, both physical and metaphysical.
