It's a numbers game: Hustle 5 guys for 20k baht a month + bar wage/drinks commission and occasional short time with a 'hansum man'. Then it's lots of nights out at Myst/808/Bar Host clubs and cash for the family up North. Rinse and repeat.
Dude was pretty spot on.
With all the information out there, a small amount of research will tell you not to break the 3 day rule and do not send money. Yet many will still do it. Like they say, can't fix stupid.
... and while searching keep this on your mind: "Beautyness is enough to catch somebodies eye - to stay in memory a good character is needed" ...
I was in Pattaya a couple weeks ago and broke the 3 day rule, splashed a good amount of money on drinks but when we were out she never asked for a single baht and refused me to pay for things like clothes etc. I'm back home and not asked for any money.
If she does ask I would not send any, my 2 weeks spent with her was good, shy girl, no tattoos and seems to not enjoy working in bar much since she often barfined herself to come see me. Claims to quit working in bar within 2 month because its exhausting for her and rather would work in the mall.
I'll be going back in a few months and see how things play out.

If you find a nice girl in Bangkok, chances are she works 8-12 hours/day, 6 days a week. At the end of the day, does she want to plan where to go for dinner and what to do? No. She wants to spend the limited free time she has with you, doing something fun. If you do the planning part, that's more fun and less effort for her. Unless she's a hi-so girl, she doesn't have the time or the money to go to restaurants and bars every night, so there are many exciting food and drink and entertainment experiences that will be new to her.
