    Great to shoot in wind like that sometimes. Your hits demonstrate good targeting skills. Great effort and fine rifle.

    The 452 didn't act like the wind was bothering it any. LOL. Thank you for sharing and shooting guns like the rest of us own. Now shoot a stock 10/22 or marlin 60 series. That was some kind of wind, you were up against getting beat up with the hoodie had to be challenging.

    Nice target my friend. I would not complain about the color target. I printed mine in B&W and it was very hard to see all the eggs even with my 32X sightron fixed power scope.

    Awesome video. Too bad someone was bad mouthing you about shooting in the wind??? Also didn't know this was supposed to be shot with a "factory" rifle. I guess throw my target away. ha ha. Even though I only have $474, in my 10/22. I scoped up my Savage MK1 FVT today. Pulled the factory irons off, so it's as factory as you can get, except I put it in a Boyds stock. Hopefully that is not against the rules. Let me know, and great shooting!!! It's been snowing here in northern Nevada, so I have not gone out in a few days. Weather was just not permitting!!!

    Is that an 8, since you hit the little egg in the middle (second one from the bottom) and cracked the other one above it? I didn't see you count that one. This one is tricky to count up. Shooting in the wind, definitely makes it much harder. I still think you did very well, considering the gust you were getting. You are a die hard, a lot guys don't get out there and shoot like you do. I had to go to the range earlier to test some loads for an AR, but the wind was so cold, that's about all I did!!!

    • @Dayattherange
      @Dayattherange  3 месяца назад

      Count up all the eggs that have one shot first. Then go back and deduct 1 point for each egg that has 2 shots in it. Should actually be 11.

    Side question if I could, please 🙏
    What puts a rifle in open class on these challenges? For example, if you change the trigger, is your rifle now switched from factory to the open class? Or is there more to it, like changing the barrel and putting the barreled action into a chassis?
    Sorry, still learning here 😅

    • @Dayattherange
      @Dayattherange  3 месяца назад +1

      .Remember these are not official rules these are OUR rules and club to own and run hehehehe. Mainly what everyone usually agree's with are trigger, barrel or chassis.

    Cannot those target holders be held firm instead of waving all over the place?

    • @Dayattherange
      @Dayattherange  3 месяца назад +1

      This range holders are usually very stable but seriously the winds were 35MPH at minimal that day. The best way is to concrete them in the ground but what happens when someone comes along and shoots them up and you need to replace them. I feel ya for sure but there is no way that I should have been out there that day lol.
