Suggestions from a pretty good benchrest shooter: The wheel is a coarse vertical adjustment. Get it in the approximate place and lock it down. Make fine vertical adjustments with the rear leveling foot. Use a fore end stop to consistently return to battery.
Blazer works pretty good out of my mark ii but for the challenge eley match would be my go to, hope to get in on the next one can't wait to see what it is
@@Dayattherange I hear that. I love old ammo!! As you can tell, I use a lot of that Federal Gold Medal Match, some from 1992 and 1995. The US olympic team won in Barcelona, summer of '92,, using that old Federal ammo. Then there is so many different kinds of SK and Lapua that has been awesome! Like SK Match Gold, and that Lapua Master, and Lapua Multi Match, and Lapua Midal "L". One of the reasons I enjoy your videos so much: because you use a lot of different kinds of ammo and rifles. Keep them coming, and please keep the challenges coming! You know I'm game!!

@@Dayattherange Killer Iv got very similar Fac.Sav. MDT Axis ll Precision .223 pretty accurate .I upgraded Grip with there Premier Vertical and dropped a Timney in it / Game changer 👍🏻👍🏻
@@NoPro1962 I was thinking about changing the trigger also though I really wanted to leave it factory and do nothing but bed it. But that tacticool stock it comes in isn't suitable. So I am going to try and leave it like this just to see what's possible.

@@CountryRimfire I might try tomorrow if the rain holds off! Last year I had a tree fall right next to my bench while I was shooting. Now I am a bit skittish when it's windy.

We have had pieces of our sheet metal roof go flying across the yard and over our vehicles. Luckily we were not out there near it any of those times. I hope you get a chance to shoot it Gilly!! 😉 😃 😊
Hi, ive been watching your videos on the 460S&W and you sold me on gettingba big bore revolver. I just not sure to get a s&w or a bfr, could you give your opinion on which you liked best all things equal
Depends on your preference single action or single action double action. The BFR is stronger for sure and is known for it's accuracy. The S&W is NO SLOUCH it is very accurate also but has double and single action in my opinion makes it a little more versatile.

Really digging how it showed up but honestly surprised I did so well with the Wolf Match Extra. That stuff use to be really good ammo.

Great video. That Wolf Match Extra ammo was made by Lapua. It was pretty good stuff, and shot very well in all of my rifles.
