Yes, unfortunately some homeless people are crazy and liars. I bought a homeless young girl (looked around 20) dinner and she said she was trying to get back home which was about an hour away (fishing for money) I told her I would happily give her a ride as I didn't have anything to do that evening anyway. She starts stuttering and quickly changed the subject. She looked very annoyed as she walked away from me, no doubt because I didn't give her money.

Most homeless people are homeless for a reason. Drugs , felonies, or mental disorders. I always give them food because I know if I gave them money, they're on their way to get drugs. I would never invite them into my home. Too many things could go wrong.

I can only say thank you. It's not easy to allow a homeless person into your family especially if you have children.
But I've met wonderful homeless people and there are people who really want to get their lives together they just don't have the resources and I was surprised that this man didn't have any addictions he must have found some way to cope with that.
Maybe he had a positiveness that allowed him to flourish. I found when I worked with the homeless a lot of homeless people their lives were turned around because they found Christ.
Remember I grew up in the inner cities I worked with homeless shelters with my church and a lot of times we would eat there Mom did the best she could but we always would run out of food at the end of the month and my mom was the assistant manager at the shelter when our church would go.
I remember talking to the pastor's wife and I'll never forget what she told me and how she met her husband.
She was a teenager who had been abused at home and she wound up on the streets and she of course got into prostitution of course she was sexually molested before that and her husband met her while she was still a prostitute.
I remember when she told me I wept and wept and wept I was 16 years old. Ironically the pain I felt for her it was actually coming from me which always made me wonder if I had some connection that I couldn't remember at the age of 25 I finally understood why.
Seven abusers male and females under the ages of 25.
Black white hispanic the only abuser I never came across was an Asian guy.
My point is You weep for those who have experienced suffering especially if you've experienced it even though you have no memory.
I'm now 42 I'm thankful for the healing that Christ has brought through counseling EMDR therapy inner healing and deliverance but I'm still single.
I'm a self-supported Christian missionary serving in Taiwan please forgive my grammar I'm recovering from a broken shoulder and using Auto dictation.
I've been blessed to serve people over the last 15 years jumping into their lives mess and all helping them the lot navigate the darkness of sin at the hands of other people.
I've been able to see them heal emotionally physically and spiritually as I've been trained in counseling inner healing and deliverance.
I only say this to give the glory to Jesus Christ I'm so often Americans are not allowed to acknowledge especially living in Democratic states.
I have more religious freedom in Taiwan when I do in America

Ginger, Victor, and Dean, I hope you will see this. I have watched many videos about love and caring and have even commented on a few. Your video touched me very deeply and I needed to try to let you know through a comment here that you are beautiful. Thank you. I don't want to obfuscate by writing too much, just thank you and may the Good Lord continue to bless all three of you.

I appreciate the change,it's not everyone's decision to be homeless and it's hard to get a job,as a kid I wasn't exactly homeless but I was living in a shelter for almost 2 years and before that, going house to house staying a few days for a year even sleeping in a car a few times, that life was so hard because as a kid,I couldn't do anything and no one would help me,that's why now that I made it out of that mess I get frustrated when the homeless don't accept money,I wouldn't wish it upon anyone and from what I learned some things are never in your control,to anyone looking to help someone and they don't accept money ,take the time to talk with them as it would make them feel a whole lot better

Btw I spent my whole middle school years homeless and after some kids found out,I was bullied but that didn't stop me from becoming a better person,I wish that everyone would just take the time and have a talk because the world is harsh
