God, I already love this game so much. It just feels so authentic. I’ve always noticed the difference between the animatronics in Fnaf games/fangames and actual, real-life animatronics. The animatronics in the games are too uniform to pass as real, the shells feel too placid and stagnant, and they just don’t quite seem like an old 90’s pizzeria band. These animatronics look exactly how you’d expect real ones to look. They have that tacky, cartoonish design that old children’s attractions used to have, the bodies, like Freddy’s for example, are felt and fabric unibodies that stretch over the metal frame. And the withered animatronics, most importantly, like like a dismembered, authentic, destroyed version of the original animatronics. Not only that, but I never understood how the withered animatronics from Fnaf 2 could even stand considering their state of damage. But these look completely capable of moving and walking like they do. I also love the nice touch in the extra menu where the music cuts completely when you get to The Ghost’s page.

These are probably the most horrifying recreations of the FNAF gang I've ever seen, if I saw those things I would run away as quickly as possible.

Okay, seriously, Chica. Chica straight up looks like a Jim Henson puppet character and its so awesome, the render shown looks so incredibly authentic its actually scary, the 80s purple-ish lighting and the design is so disturbingly authentic. Out of all the animatronics in this game, Chica is the only one who could actually legit be an 80s animatronic

Uncanny valley. It looks like a real thing but it’s not, and we know it’s not. The OG models didn’t really look too based of anything we know so they weren’t as scary as these
I noticed that while normal Chica isn’t food-themed, her withered counterpart is. Why?
Probably underneath the sleep gown is the “lets eat” bib she wears
@@Severedous_toenelius That is one of these answers, this could be implied that the original Chica had been here for years (or months?) before she was replaced by the pajamas Chica while the original was left in the basement
she almost looks like Ebenezer Scrooge but without the candle and the 3 ghost of Christmas and glasses and the humbug.
Foxy/withered foxy is also wearing a slightly differnet pirate outfit
@@skypher7936 I think there's only one Chica, along with the rest of the cast. The game states they were all damaged by the Mangle prior to night 6. The night gown and hat are most likely accessories put over Chica that were torn off and the bib is just a remnant from when she was food-themed.

Yeah, i get this. It’s not like a “are you good bro” scenario. Dreams just kinda do this sorta shit. But I could definitely imagine having a dream including Freddy Fazbear, but my brain sorta misremembering, mixing, morphing and redefining how he looks using actual animatronics, other media, or just something I’d experienced or witnessed that day, to turn him into something like this in the dream. Wouldn’t even need to necessarily be a nightmare.
This game is so cool, it captures the scaryness of fnaf (and made it scarier) and I love the fact that even though the models are unrealistically scary, they are still realistic, they look like actual 80s animatronics, full body suits with endoskeletons being visible, and the new additions like Bonnie's glasses and chicas cupcake design
Something about fnaf 2 specifically must have really resonated with people.
Most of the best fan games I’ve seen use those designs in some capacity. Here, joy of creation and I know there’s others.
Which is funny cause 2 probably has the least representation in the mainline series.
You probay answered your own musing with that last comment. People will naturally gravitate towards the part of the series with the least coverage because they can comfortably fill in the story without stepping on any established lore.
Probably because the animatronics looked more retro in that game especially the withered animatronics while there not as authentic as the ones from jrs they do look like something you’d see in a mascot restaurant around the mid 80s although I’d beg to differ about the toy animatronics which look fairly too modern for a game set in 1987 and that’s not a jab towards Scott or anything no there fine looking but just don’t really fit in an 80s environment
I love how the game gave Mangle a new role in this game and look, basically rather than another side character they made her a boss. Creative idea!
Somehow the animatronics here remind me a lot of both the Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and the Skeksis from The Dark Crystal in terms of how they look so deformed and grotesque in an uncanny way. They truly do look like someone tried to bring cartoon characters to life but went about it horribly wrong which really makes them that much more horrifying at the end. Seriously they're not just excellently made designs for FNAF but really just excellently made horror animatronics in general.

And remember, part of why Jr's got delayed a year was from Mangle and it got remodeled to be even larger than before-
(Also, honestly, Mangle having Ennard's role of being literally everyone and then some was wonderful. Same for using similar design aspects, only you are killing them off.)

Damn, they look TOO realistic... I mean I can believe that they were real animatronics in pizzeria in 80's - 90's... One of the best recreation of fnaf.
I wish the creator of this game made a Five Nights At Freddys 2 remake , with his artstyle , it would be the most terrifying thing ever .

It's crazy how legitimately scary these things are. They remind me of how a kids imagination would remember them. In reali life, as a kid especially, this is how you'd remember animatronics if you were scared of them, even if the!y didn't look that scary.

While they are super creepy, they actually do look more like realistic animatronics from the 90’s, compared to the Rockefeller explosion band or the old Chuck E. Cheese animatronics

2:06 does anyone else notice how when chica becomes withered, she also regains her eating theme again? Like her night gown and pj shirt is gone and instead her let’s eat bib and her hair returns back to normal.

Probably she had that bib hidden under the night gown and because the attire got so torn, it is revealing everything from chica

I agree, these designs would fit like a glove in Fnaf 4. They look exactly like a more exaggerated version of the mascots a child would see and be scared of, and even Chica's sleep theme fits.
In the background of Bonnie, I noticed one of the drawings of Bonnie looked similar to big chungus.

The models in this are some of the best a fangame has to offer. I really like how Withered Freddy looks in this, I sort of wish this is how he looked in FNaF 2. I don’t get why Withered Chica doesn’t have the night gown anymore, but still a really disturbing model nonetheless. Best model in my opinion are both Foxy’s, with the way that they actually have more pirate aspects like the piercings. The way they handled Mangle was something I dig too. Robotic amalgamation style horror really sets the tone of horror for me. So overall, incredible jobs

simply put it the immense attention to detail in this fangame is what we needed, in any main stream horror game. Because 1) you take in for consideration the TIME and EFFORT to pull it off. Only the large amount of passion and interest can hold that hard work up. 2) it really does, a 110%, deliver the fact that this is a HORROR game not just a game that puts you under stress of perfecting the game mechanisms it's SCARY, with terrifying design not just quickly done simple textures. 3) it's not TOO much and it's not TOO little. it found that perfect grey area. this was incredible. 100000000000000000/10 rating

Maybe, actually, it was just a coincidence that two different fan games had the same idea about gameplay. But, as we can see, JR's developers changed their game's main gameplay feature after Tealerland was released.
Genuinely love that they all look like theyre taken straight from Rock A Fire Explosion and Early Chuck E Cheese!!! besides the gameplay, the best part is the designs!

The only words I could say everytime a new character showed was ICKY GROSS OMG it’s so disturbing how real, I LOVE IT
I hate how they all give this Left4Dead vibe with Silent Hill. It's disgustingly good that I want to scream with fear and puke while also admiring the style. And the fact that they all look more of a suit with a real person inside makes it more creepy. Really cool work!
These designs exude Rock-a-fire Explosion energy, and I hope to god Blum House takes these as inspiration.

I love the designs in this game so much! Especially Bonnie and Puppet, they awake a type of fear in me that makes me want to shrivel up in a corner! The almost rubber or flesh like texturing on them does wonders for adding that realistic touch. As others have said, they really look like real animatronics used for shows.
Looking at these animatronics, especially the Marionette has me thinking: "How tf are these designs even good for kids?! They look scary AF!". Really brings out the uncanny valley feeling.
Bonnie at 0:42 looks a grandpa to me for some reason... idk maybe the glasses make him look like one

So, The Mangle is the reason why the originals became withered, She ripped Bonnie's face and arm off, shattered BB and Marionette's faces, probably nearly destroyed everyone else just for their parts, and now that the ghost had taken control they all decided to sacrifice themselves and build the rest of The Mangle. No other FNAF fan game could give me better twisted lore than this 👏👏👏
