wow vin thanks so much for the comparison!! i just learned about viture one and it's definitely more up my alley. this feels like the dawn of a new era of technology, not just with all the advancements happening with ai, but we're now starting to integrate technology in a way that's cohesive with everyday life rather than a distraction from it. i'm so optimistic about the future. subscribed!! :D
I had both for a month and ended up returning the viture and keeping the xreal Reason? I tried all 4 viture nose pieces. 3 out of 4 were useless as the cut off anything between a third and 3 quarters of the screen off. Only nose piece 0 was close to ok but even with that one it was impossible to move the glasses to a place where all 4 corners of the screen were both visible and without blur. Tried moving the glasses up and down my nose to find a spot where this was possible but it did not exist. I think this is because the xreal has 3 clickable positions for the actual angle that the arms of the glasses sit at relative to your head and viture has no such feature making them basically un-usable for me. Surprised you did not mention this difference in the video as viture badly needs this. Also xreal has both windows / mac software and android / iphone software and viture has no software at all. Also not mentioned in the video. With the windows (beta) software I can easily get a 3 monitor flat screen setup with the xreal but not possible with the viture.

as to text possibly you go for viture. but for multi tasking possibly xreal because of the 3 screen they offer.. on Tuesday in china xreal 2 pre-sale will be out. hope they fix that sharpness thing because of new oled... seems you gotta get the viture for quality....
PC productivity is exactly why I went with xreal. I had both pairs and returned the viture because text was not as clear, was more blurry, could not clearly see all 4 corners of the screen at the same time as there was always some blur. Also with xreal nebula I can easily set up 3 virtual monitors side by side without buying any extra hardware with the xreal and I am using the windows (beta) version of nebula for that. Works great if you are on windows 11 but might have some problems on windows 10.
Thank you for making these videos... Did you notice any lag / latency with the viture ? I would like to also use them for gaming but am worried they will have too high a latency....
if you tend to use it as a direct cable plug-in monitor with mobile dock, then you shouldn't need to worry about the latency. If you use it as streaming then it is actually depend on your internet. Streaming using neckband has very low latency but I still notice few milisecond off, so might not suitable for heavy fps gaming :)

I tried viture, xreal air and rokid max. Only 1 good thing for viture - electrochromic film. Also viture has a bit wide color range (i.e. same picture from Netflix in dark scene has more details compare to xreal and rokid). But image - too blurry, generally the picture has very bad contrast, smaller angle. Really uncomfortable to use. Rokid max has brighter picture, good colors and more or less good picture. Xreal has the most clear picture and a bit less brightness compared to rokid max. It could be difficult to choose between rokid and xreal, but the viture - it's definitely the loser between these 3. But the neck station - very good idea, but it will not work with xreal or rokid (unfortunately). Even viture mobile dock don't work with xreal or rokid (which is pretty strange). So for viture - very good idea and additional devices, but the core device (glasses) has very bad implementation, with probably the cheapest displays and/or optics (actually with the optics - its a bit specific, because generally - image not clear and blurry, but its evently blurry compare to rokid, which has clear picture in center and blurry at edges. Actually, at edges, rokid even more blurry than viture at edges)
My question relates to eye sight impact. I wear glasses and understand that these have a portion where corrective lens can be added? My concern is the negative impact to my eye sight when looking at something so close. If I need to wear prescriptive glasses within the unit, then this implies that my eyes are not relaxed similar to looking at far distances but it is under tension when looking at a close distances. Is my assumption correct? This will be a strain on my eyes?
Yes you are correct. You will still feel some tension in long session (abour 2 hours plus). Less tense on bigger picture but more on smaller text. Well, looking at monitor will still feel more natural.
So the glasses has 3dof on all devices, such as iPhone with the adapter and Mac? And the iPhone is currently the only device with multi screen support?
Why do you need the mobile dock (for Viture) or the Beam (for Xreal)? Is there a reason why you can't plug a Nintendo Switch for example, directly into the glasses?
Firstly, nintendo switch cannot power the glasses directly. Secondly, I remember there is a TV/hdmi chipset that control the charging port. That chipset require special signal to activate video output. I think that is the reason why beam and mobile dock step in the game. Correct me if I am wrong.
It's a Nintendo Switch limitation. Nintendo does not play nice when it comes to things like screen casting and working well with other hardware. Basically the beam tricks the switch into thinking that the beam is the docking station.
Is it safe to say that the Viture glasses are better for someone who just wants to watch movies? What about watching fast paced sports (hockey for example). Is the headset capable of this output? or is it better to just keep watching on a 4K TV? Xreal pro 2s any better? Anyone... Thanks Vin!
Mostly videos will run around 60Hz, so these glasses should be able to run at that refresh rate. I don't think that will be an issue viewing any videos. For faster pace which is 120hz, Xreal glasses have 120Hz ability but u will need to plug into anything that is compatible and capable delivering 120hz output. With that being said, maybe the tech is still early stage my experience with Viture, Xreal 1 and 2. It is still a bit blurry on the 4 side of the screen. I don't have the Xreal 2 Pro tho. To compare with 4k tv at home, I would still prefer to use TV. I only use the glasses whenever I want a bigger screen than my phone and tablet and where TV is not available.
I try iced to find a head size for the viture as I am a size 8 hat so my head is quite large but comparing your ruler with my current prescription frames it will fit … thank you
another great video, vin. only thing i do not like is getting dizzy when walking outside for more than 30 minutes. the 3dof is laggy and kinda useless on viture for me. much love! ❤
Definitely you can, but you will need to use the higher nosepad. But keep in mind, depend on the glasses you are wearing, as the Xreal Air has the front sensor detect whenever you remove the glasses, so sometimes it might turn off the screen while wearing with the glasses (I mean, it is a good feature to save battery tho). The Viture sensor on the temple. And of course, it won't be as comfy as wearing the glasses itself but you can totally do it.
Can you compare sharpness across the entire screen with both glasses. I have tried numerous Xreal Airs (from Amazon) and each one has the issue where some lines of text are slightly blurry. Different pairs have the same issue to more or less degree and in different spots. This is a deal breaker for me for productivity. Can you let us know if the Viture has same issue? I would gladly pay a little more for a more premium and useful device as I use the glasses often (for games and video, where text is not that important).
Do you have nearsight or farsight? that is the first question might somewhat affect your viewing experience. Viture text does feel sharper than the Nreal but I cannot say it is entirely perfect. For example, the right eyes looking at the text on the right hand sight will be very sharp but if you use the right eyes to look further at the end of the left hand side. the text will turn slightly blurry, just slightly. Same with the left one. But both eyes gonna process the picture by itself, its weird but you gonna see the text kinda clear. Mostly the blur will exist more on the edge of the screen because of the thing I just explained.
@@vininspect my vision is good and I don’t need corrective glasses. To me there are simply blur spots, they vary in severity and placement from pair to pair (I ordered and returned 3 pairs). I kept the least bad one as I love them for video games and movies. Pity I can’t use them for productivity. To me it seems like imperfections in the plastic that is causing this effect.
@tomkruk2585 I just double check my Nreal Air. I don't actually have the same blurry in some line of text like you mentioned. Big text no issue, I only have issue when viewing small to medium text on Nreal Air, which has like rough pixelated edge surrounding the text. Well, could be quality control as well, you will never know. But if the 3rd one have the same issue then it could be the hardware design and material itself like you mentioned.
In that case is probably your video card. I have xreal and have no such issue but screens via the windows nebula (beta) software had some screen tear until I went into graphics settings > vsync on my nvidia software inside windows and set vsync to "high".
Depends on what type of works. Smaller text still viewable on both glasses but Viture is slightly sharper. Xreal can display multiple screen on Macbook (currently beta version) but Windows version not available yet. Both are good indoor but Viture definitely better when outdoor with brighter screen. It is hard to recommend and depends to what you do. I suggest you go to Xreal community on Reddit and Viture community on Discord to dig deeper on the products. I tried to cover most of things but not everything :)
As I look at other comment about 3DoF, can you describe more clearly about "viture is not smooth 3DoF"? Right now, I have Xreal + Beam...But I think when I go outside, it too many devices for handle it... Is changing to viture a good idea? I cannot use it without 3DoF because of motion sickness
Hmmm, it is a bit tricky to describe. It is like if you are looking at the regtangle screen. Then you try to shake your head left and right quickly. You will notice that the Nreal Air regtangle will most likely to keep it shape. While the Viture has a little bit jiggle effect, which curves the regtangle slightly at the bottom and regtangle turns back to normal shape when you stop moving your head. I hope their second version can fix this. For motion sickness, at this point can say Nreal do better job. But yea, the Viture One itself can handle 3dof while the Xreal need Beams to handle it so you don't need to carry too many devices.
@@vininspectIt should be noted however that the beam introduces lag even in wired mode, which makes it not as suitable for latency-susceptible games like rhythm games Otherwise I would have no issues with continuing to use it
The virture advertises itself as a virtual 120 inch screen and the xreal advertises itself as a virtual 130 inch screen out the box and with no use of extra software or hardware. I had both and yeah, the difference is noticable, the xreal screen feels bigger.
wearing your own glasses with Viture is possible :) probably you will need to use the highest nosepad that they include in the box. Butpossibly, the glass might have chances sliding off your nose since it is not sitting normally and it also depends on your nose and face shape.
Thank you so much! For work, to be honest, both glasses good but it is really depend on what type of work. Photoshop or Adobe stuffs, I cannot measure how accurate the color is so I cannot recommend it atm. If you are working with a lot of text, long session with these glasses, I still feel some strain to my eyes as I still have to really focus on a certain text on screen. Good but not great yet. To me, sometime I still prefer using my laptop. If you want a portable setup with your phone, it is a great alternative to your laptop. If the multiple monitors feature is available, I will definitely recommend just for that feature alone. But Nreal still in Beta for Mac and closed beta for Windows, Viture still in development. Yea, seems like I will just use it mostly for gaming for now.
I am glad there is finally a video comparing these two very obvious competitors! So thanks for that. Only gripe, you seem to have a bias towards Viture. NReal/XReals are a great product, just the adapter / software situation can be a bit challenging, depending what you intent to do.
If Nreal can tackle the software side, the beam will be very competitive cus it by then will be able to do what both neckband and mobile dock can do. I found a way to make chromecast work with via cable :) it is kinda nice.
All the media reviews mentioned Viture has the best sharpness and clarity; their neckband and recent released iPhone XR adapter are also killer products
Actually if you need good 3dof, the Xreal gonna do better in this case, Viture also can lock the screen in place but it is not entirely smooth like Xreal. But other aspect of the screen on Viture is good.
@@vininspect Viture's 3dof is built-in, while for xreal you need an extra device, so it is not an apple to apple comparison. Viture mentioned in discord that they haven't released 3dof on neckband yet. I haven't purchased the neckband though as I mainly use them for switch, and I found myself seldom use 3dof.
@@LynnJoy Ah yes true Viture glasses has its own 3dof and the neckband as well, while Xreal only have on beam. But personally, I don't use that feature on both glasses frequently to be honest.
The thing is, can you follow instructional video playing on your phone ( lets say Karate lesson) ... will that display sufficiently clear on the glasses in broad daylight. Lets say , when you are in the park for example ?
Hmmm, if you are in the park in normal sunlight condition. I would say Nreal is clear but there will be some detail lost as the peak brightness is not that high. On the other hand, I can see more detail on the Viture. Very bright sunlight can affect both but still, Viture is viewable but by then Xreal Air has hard time showing video in that condition.
@@vininspect I have the windows beta (it's not hard to get) and the 3 monitor setup works great on windows 11 but did not work for me on windows 10. Only the 1 monitor nebula setup worked.
Thank you for telling people that the only choice for xr glasses are the Viture with the Neckband. The Rokid is a joke, rayban is.......😂, Xreal releases a new product every few months because they know how superior the Vitures are. Nreal, Xreal, air, air pro, air 2, air pro 2, now the xreal ultra. Whats a few months after that, the Super D Dooper Xreal ultra series 5000. Then the Xreal Dynamic dynamo 2600..etc etc. Everyone just get the Viture and all will be well. You can rest with the confidence that you have a vastly superior product that has years of firmware updates ahead of it. And best of all, you arent forced to buy a new product every few months. Thats my 3 cents. Oh sh*t, i just thought of a great one for after the xreal ultra become obsolete 3 months after their release........The Xreal Mother of all xr glasses we swear 2000. 😂😅❤
Hah paid review. While he was comparing image quality when viewed outdoors, the Viture's background was blurred focussing only on the display while Xreal's background was not blurred making the display not look clear due to background. Xreal has 120Hz and has really good community support as well, don't believe this lame guy.
@@joecharpentier6636 he must be doing something like that. Because to call this a paid review is wild 😂 I always look for bias in videos like this and I kept going back and forth with him so pretty sure he was honest with his review lol
Oh boy, I don't own any AR glasses. In fact I'll wait until these glasses get really good couple of years later and then buy. People are easily fooled. Do I have to spoon feed you people in order for you to open your eyes? Go to 04:23 in the video, the Virtue one is focused with bigger aperture blurring the background making the image look clear while the image below has the aperture set to small removing the background blur making the image not clear. Even after all this explanation if you think that this is not paid review, just enjoy.
@dark420passenger I own these. With the neckband. I can tell you that they are by far the best and in my opinion, the only choice to make. They are crystal clear. They run beautifully. Gaming, movies, TV, sound quality. Viture is the right choice. Xreal ultra will be plagued with issues as they are already predicting.

Thanks Vin! It sounds like the technology is getting very close, but not yet perfect. I dont fly enough to justify but still interested! @@vininspect
Please can you get hold onf the inmoAir 2. had the 1, I wanted to love it so badly.
I don't know. Is it really tempting to try the inmo Air 2 but I am saving up for the incoming Quest 3 release atm to be honest.
Ok, cool.
I try iced to find a head size for the viture as I am a size 8 hat so my head is quite large but comparing your ruler with my current prescription frames it will fit … thank you
Glad it helped :)
@@vininspect dude your video was such good quality I had to sub I can’t wait to watch more
Thanks so much for your kind word!!
@@vininspect no problem sometimes all that is needed to fix a bad day is a little positivity
But you didn't mention this important fact that viture can pin the page without accessories in the environment.
how do they work with you wearing glasses? can you adjust the viture glasses to your prescription?
Is this Xreal Air 1 or Xreal Air 2?
Thanks for the video
another great video, vin. only thing i do not like is getting dizzy when walking outside for more than 30 minutes. the 3dof is laggy and kinda useless on viture for me. much love! ❤
Thank you so much! Agree on the 3dof Viture lag, still need extra work on it. Have a great day :)
Can either of these be worn over existing glasses?
@@PizzaLord I don't have a video card issue. Wherever I plug them in, phone, laptop, iPad. Same spots are blurry.
great review, thx
Very Nice Review! Clear - direct- smart - honest
Which would you recommend for work? Can they display multiple screens?
Oh...Thank you for your feedback. It's very clear answer @@vininspect
No problem! @ovm21activity
@@vininspectIt should be noted however that the beam introduces lag even in wired mode, which makes it not as suitable for latency-susceptible games like rhythm games
Otherwise I would have no issues with continuing to use it
Can you use the Viture neckband on the Xreal glasses?
No, not at the moment, the neckband has its own magnetic pogo pin connector while the the xreal is using type C input.
Great Video!! Good Job!
Thank you so much!
Where i can buy this glass? Cant found viture in markets
There is the link for both glasses I put in the description.
@@vininspectThe description does not seem to have any links, or is yt broken again on certain apps?
@@AndreaFrancoise Ahhh, I just found out. Thanks for letting me know!
Well done, Vin!
Can you record?
No both glasses don't have front camera
Thank you. Subscribed.
Thank you!
is there any kind of tracking with these two glasses ? 3dof-tracking ?
The glasses will have 3dof feature on board and on the neckband. While the Xreal Air needs beam to enable that function
Where can i buy for uk?
I think you can get it originally on Viture website, they ship to UK. For Xreal Air, I had to purchase it on Aliexpress as they only ship within US.
Do the viture have a smaller screen? Is 200in vs 120in noticeable?
I don't have any special tools to measure screen except my ruler atm. Viture slightly around 10% smaller but not significant.
The virture advertises itself as a virtual 120 inch screen and the xreal advertises itself as a virtual 130 inch screen out the box and with no use of extra software or hardware.
I had both and yeah, the difference is noticable, the xreal screen feels bigger.
@@PizzaLord which one dud you end up keeping and why?
@@highlander5304 Xreal. Sharper image and decent PC software whereas the viture has no software at all.
great review, exactly what I am looking for, how is wearing your own glasses with Viture , im sure its Uncomfortable but possible or not ?
wearing your own glasses with Viture is possible :) probably you will need to use the highest nosepad that they include in the box. Butpossibly, the glass might have chances sliding off your nose since it is not sitting normally and it also depends on your nose and face shape.
Can either of these actually be used for work?
Awesome video btw. Appreciate your content and your quality is getting better and better
So what I've heard from this video is at the viture is way better.
The reason why is because I always think have I made a mistake gettning rid of the xreal for the Viture
Why? I made the opposite choice BTW and got rid of the viture for the xreal. I had both and I tested them side by side before picking one.
@PizzaLord what you ended up with and why
@@AztroGezzy xreal. better image. also it has PC and mobile software and viture does not.
@@PizzaLord thanks I just received my xreal and it's nice
All the media reviews mentioned Viture has the best sharpness and clarity; their neckband and recent released iPhone XR adapter are also killer products
I really want glasses like these but I won't buy until proces drop somewhere below 200€
I own the Xreal Air and it's just not great. Need something that does 3dof better. This is the exact comparison I was looking for. Thank you.
That should increase battery time not using onboard audio
The thing is, can you follow instructional video playing on your phone ( lets say Karate lesson) ... will that display sufficiently clear on the glasses in broad daylight. Lets say , when you are in the park for example ?
Hmmm, if you are in the park in normal sunlight condition. I would say Nreal is clear but there will be some detail lost as the peak brightness is not that high. On the other hand, I can see more detail on the Viture. Very bright sunlight can affect both but still, Viture is viewable but by then Xreal Air has hard time showing video in that condition.
Thanks for your review! But Xreal Air now has 120Hz refresh rate buy Viture doesn't.
Really???
The overheating issue broke a lot of Xreal arms😂
So hardware, it looksl Like Viture is king, but software, you can have 3 monitors on the xreal
3 Monitors on the Xreal only compatible with Macbook at the moment, windows version still in beta or I wasn't able to get access just yet.
@@vininspect I have the windows beta (it's not hard to get) and the 3 monitor setup works great on windows 11 but did not work for me on windows 10. Only the 1 monitor nebula setup worked.
I love m’y Xreal, because that’s the one I bought
I am so sad no-one is sponsoring your channel...
It is what it is. Gotta spend what I need to spend
very hepful
I would just use my AirPods

Hah paid review. While he was comparing image quality when viewed outdoors, the Viture's background was blurred focussing only on the display while Xreal's background was not blurred making the display not look clear due to background. Xreal has 120Hz and has really good community support as well, don't believe this lame guy.
I picked the virtue based off this review so idk what you mean.
@lethalyoshie he's trying to justify buying the xreals but knowing that the Viture is light years ahead of the xreal lmao
Xreal ultra will be plagued with issues as they are already predicting.
yawn
Viture is a copy. Don't reward the copy
No it is not! Viture just took longer to deliver the best! On the contrary, xreal just copies Viture's electrochromic film, look who is the copy
