This is the comparison of Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Pico 4 Virtual Reality Headsets.
Using virtual desktop is good but if you want to maximise the screen, clarity and smoothness. Connect via cable is still the optimal way for PCVR, especially, when you want extra headroom for visual and performance.
Now something else to add is that, if you are able to dig deeper in one of Oculus Diagnostic Tool, and increase its birate to 900 mpbs (drop this down if lower pc specs) via direct cable connect. Its clarity will be significant increased. There are a few tutorial on youtube that show you how. But of course, it is gonna be very performance hungry.
