Can’t believe they used a sponge to wash the car, that’s just gonna introduce loads of swirls.
Did you not get the car professionally prepared full decontamination and polish etc before PPF?
Prewash, rince, two buckets cleaning with our own shampoo and sponges yes. Of course we did decontamination and preparation of the surfaces. As we precised in other comment Seb received this car from Porsche Geneva in particularly mint condition, except the bonnet where we had to also make a clearcoat correction (you can still see two small deformations in the metal on it at the end, as Seb wants to take care of later). The video doesn't focus on it and we are ok with it has it's also Seb's vlog after all ;)

1st - for full pro service you must wash a car inside or near your garage at least with simple « karcher » with correct pressure it collects dust from traveling, and send your premium clients to self wash service isn’t cool...
Another important sing it must me forbidden to work while you wearing a wrist watch, so easy to scratch a car by accident.

Was working by MB dealership and its a joke how Protech works! But your Porsche is insane and hope you enjoy it for a long time. But next time choose a full sense detailer👍🏻
Wanted to comment the same thing, 2 buckets method + decontamination + clay bar + polish is a must before applying ppf. They only washed it in the nearest self service station wtf car has to be spotles under the film :)

I just got a flashback to when you were going to wrap the little Lotus and now look at you Seb! Came a long way, so happy to see you enjoying these types of cars. Hopefully I´ll get mine someday.

The only thing I dislike about this car is the glass roof . Personally I prefer a dark interior , and it only makes it weigh more having that glass . And all the extra weight is in the wrong spot .
I also have a Jet Black Metalic that has eaten a few rocks. OK, like a lot of rocks...similar spec as yours but black seat belt straps. I bought it used and I guess the 1st owner lived up a dirt road. So do I respray and wrap it? Options?
That sounds incredibly beautiful! Personally, I would wrap it another colour and enjoy it while you can looking completely brand new!

Don't they usually give a multi step clean followed by a paint inspection and buffing before PPFing? Or did you just not show that?
We agreed with Seb to shorten the preps in the video as we preferred to focus on the second part where he tried to apply PPF by himself and explain what it is. It matches more with Seb's vlog idea we thought.

Gorgeous car Seb congrats! The videos always have beautiful cinematic edits. I hate to say it but you can see the quality of that companies work. Haze marks from the "wash" the film was bubbled on the bonnet. I'd get ur money back but that's just me

Quality car, thank god you aren’t wrapping it in some weird as colour. But keeping it clean. No jealousy here at all happy for you to live this dream and own a dream car.

How do you manage to have two cars with different country plates? Better never go with your french car to Switzerland. If your are swiss based you are not allowed to enter with CH with a EU registered Car, you could be fined for customs fraud.
