It's crazy hard when the muscle required are like jelly, I got some cheap exercise bands to help strengthen my inner thigh muscles cos flares are just one of the 5 moves to get that sweet rolling grape vine
I joined a monthly challenge and then this month I'll have to get that grapevine too! I tried Katie's tutorial nearly one year ago, but back then the *toe* flares were a no-no to me. Hopefully by now I can handle both of these flares!
Perfect timing. Just started to learn this and as always your clear, well-presented description is showing me where to focus! Hope you'll do the toe-toe backwards flare as well sometime, I can't quite get the positioning right... Thanks for all your good advice!
Great video as always. Hopefully toe flares coming soon 👀(my struggle😩) Your content creation and production has gotten even better, love this channel ❤
Adding this to my practice. I finally know how to do manuals and a whole sea of new things to do have opened! Do you have a tutorial on dips forward and backwards?
Toes and heels manual are very difficult to do because of trying to balance at the edges of the front and back of the skates. Thank you for sharing this useful training video on how to do the toes-heels manual.
I would love to see a tutorial about what to do with my arms while dance skating. My feet may look smooth but my arms are glued to my sides like an Irish step dancer
Do you have any good tips for people with big boobs and a little bit of meat on the muscles? Thank you I'm so glad I came across you. Your examples and explaining is so easy to follow and so comfortable and understanding.
Nothing wrong with big 🌰 🌰 or a bit of 🥩! Just take your time and make sure to keep good posture, head and chest up and open. This will really help with balance.
This is a great drill-thank you!!!!!!!

@luablau once those flares are down (I still can't hold them) ya got some really flashy moves. It's amazing how strong ya have to be to skate 😰
It is amazing how much strength these types of moves need. Practice little and often, the strength will build over time.

Great idea. I’ll add that one to the list. Thank you so much. I’ll past that on to hubby, he’s the editing department. 😉
@@Skatiedo you have any video on the Matrix? I think it would fit well in a toe flares video
Thank you. Very informative!
Thank you. Definitely a harder skill but a fun one to master.

I’m the same way. Mine are getting better over time but I look like I’m flailing while my feet are super smooth 😂.
That’s a great idea. I tend to go for a soft elbow with my arms to the side for balance.
Thanks for the visual of a skate-based Irish step dance!! 😂😂😂❤❤
Thats better than the t rex arms i make
lol you guys! 😂 😂 🦖 I have been know to adopt the funky chicken arms! lol
