I do the toe pivot quite a bit at the rink and on the trails. One thing I have learned is to always check your toe stop, making sure it is tight, before and after doing these because you can loosen it clear off the skate and see that toe stop rolling down away from ya. (Not a pretty sight, let me tell ya)
Do you have any advice for how to get lower when doing this? I see a lot of people do the compass spin but crouched all the way down and I just can't seem to get it with the lower level
I want to buy roller skates for outside but I don't know which ones. I would like to get some from Roll Line or Edea or Risport but I don't know which ones or which ones are good ❤ I love Youre Videos and I've already subscribed❤️❤️❤️🛼
Roll-line plates are all amazing. Highly recommend. For the boots Edea and Risport are both solid choices and which one will mainly depends on your foot shape as to which fits you better. I prefer Risport. If you’re a new skater don’t get anything too stiff. Look for boots rated around 25-35 stiffness as you’ll need to strengthen your legs and ankles before going to anything much stiffer.
hi skatie do you know outdoor roller skates from edea or risport or roll line if yes they shouldn't be too expensive around 260 euros ❤ I love Youre Shorts and Videos you Are amazing 😊
I've tried this so many times but I just cannot get any movement on my toe stop, it's like I'm completely stuck to the ground. I have tried both the regular and the mini roll line toe stops and I've tried with those roll line jam plugs as well, same issue. And I've also tried with the wheels down, still no movement. It's really weird
Try putting less weight into the toe stop. Think about shifting a little more weight towards the leg doing the inside edge that’s going around the circle. Push the knee of the toe stop leg so it’s turning into the circle and don’t forget your shoulders too. You got this.
I wear my Risport boots on a dance plate inside and outside but just change the wheels to outdoor wheels or indoor wheels. I have a video explaining the differences between wheel types.
thank you so much for the tutorial, also your hair is AMAZING!💜🍇🌆
Love your tutorials! especially cause I rotate clockwise and its helpful to not having to mirror everything in my head 😇💃🫶🏼
A fellow leftie!!! We got to stick together! 😜 😎🤩🌟
Great as usual. Thanks and looking forward to the heel pivot video. 😊

Thank you, Skatie😊! Give us jam skaters another class or two if you will.

Hi skatie wich risport Skates do you have
Good spot. These are the Turchese dance boot.
Am I the only one who ends up unscrewing my toe stops after a few of these?

Why not show some partner tricks
Unfortunately cameraman isn’t a skater. I’ll have to see if some of my skate friends want to join in.
