You sir just saved my life. I didn’t think I had to have my appendix removed 4 hours ago well now I’ve went to the ER and now heading to have surgery now
@@ziggymi757 I have had abdominal pain behind my belly button for 28 years. I have had many severe attacks where I would feel like I was constipated and would be in severe pain for weeks. It would be worse after sex and aggravated by my period. It would flair up with prolonged standing or walking. I have been to the emergency department 4 times in the last 12 months and I am the sort of person that avoids the hospital at all costs. New Years Day they removed my appendix after discovering I had Acute Gangrenous Appendicitis. I was dismissed by the hospital and my GP for years, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t something wrong with you. Listen to your body if you feel something isn’t quite right.
My mother almost died of peritonitis as a child. The surgeon told her she was infertile after the operation because the infection had destroyed at least one of her ovaries if not likely both. But amazingly (and as a huge surprise to my Dad) in 1990 I was conceived and popped out the following year.
In 2009 my appendix burst, was very ill in bed for 2 days, it felt like weeks, could barely move. That's when my mum called the doctor, he came to my house on my bicycle (in the snow) and he said it was probably appendicitis. He said I'd have to go the hospital, I asked my mum "will I have to have an injection?" Little did I know I'd have to go under the knife. The team of surgeons when they visited me the next day told my parents it was the worst case they had seen in a child. When i started eating again they said I could go home and got home around 2 days before Christmas.
@@imwidetoya5206 if it was a matter of minutes I bet they would be doing giant amounts of research on this. Sometimes it can take weeks I think but either way I wouldn’t waste a moment of my time going to the ERm
Good one. I once had 3 hospital corpsman go in for surgery in a month. Coworkers because I fit this test and I was right. Crazy. I had mine out bc of pain US could show an ovary. So they took out appendix and found I probably ruptured an ovarian cyst. I was checked for appendicitis since I was 12. Turns out I had PCOS adhesions everywhere and endometriosis. Always in pain till I was 33 and had everything out. Great video.
I knew I had an ovarian cyst. I had had a few previously. The doctor said"we will just whip out you your appendix." I said" no you won't" and discharged myself. .
Thank you thank you so much! :) I just found your channel today. You are super informative and professional. I'm using your channel for my fiction writing.
Remember that acute appendicitis might be a differential diagnosis of mobile cecum syndrome, but the difference is that the pain in acute appendicitis is concentrated in the McBurney's point.

Can you elaborate more on a bowel obstruction? There is something wrong with my brother where his stomach with fill with some sort of bile of acid, and he will have severe pain until he vomits. And he also has the distended stomach. I don't what is wrong with him and both times he has gone to the E.R they have done nothing. He doesn't have insurance so he is apprehensive about going back but he just suffering. If you could possibly answer this I would be very greatful. I know you're a very busy man. Thanks again Doctor. P.S I have been a sub for a very long time. ;)
In 2005 i had side pain doc gave me ultrasound and a mri but i figured out later i was just overly sensitive to hot sauce least that was the only thing new and different i had eaten. In feb this year i got navel pain that slowly moved to lower right. I can find it when i press. I also have right flank pain all through my right side that gets a weird numbing feeling if i sleep in that side like the organs are numb, so i stopped sleeping on it. I get pain when i sit for too long a time in my right upper theigh. I also have urinary problem where i get a weird tingling feeling extending from my abdomen and i can feel it going up to my stomach and into my arms and hands. When i get that tingling feeling i also get pulsating feeling on right side like internal pounding or throbbing. I had a vaginal ultrasound for fibriods and they are shrinking. I had a colonoscopy i dont have colitis but i do have diverticuloses throughout the large colon. My doctor refuses to believe its appendicitis or will let me get a cat scan. My stomach feels bloated. My right side feels enlarged and hurts anytime i bend and i limp when i walk cause of pain. The gyno said without a fever, vomiting and like a sharp excrutiating pain basically i wont get help for this. I dont believe this is just in my head and it dont feel the same way like i had in 2005. I really feel like i have appendicitis or something but how do i get help from my doctor if he dont believe me. In the meantime, im in pain every day and i get only worse yes its slow but it gets worse. How do i get this doctor to take me seriously. Thanks

@ANYONE I have been experiencing stomach ache pain for 4 days now. I think the ache/pain is around the middle of my tummy and discomfort or pressure at my lower back tailbone or rectum. It is always constant and when I pass a stool it does not get relieved. My stool is kind of a soft mushy consistency for all the times I went toilet. I also notice I haven’t been able to pass gas as often as I used to. The only time I am able to pass gas is when I go to pass a stool and that’s the only time I’m able to pass gas. Which is not normal for me. Does anyone have similar experience or know what is wrong with me? I am so scared and not sure if it’s appendix or something else.
doc i just wanna know what happened to the final result of the patient on ur Hemoptysis video yr 2013? because i have the same blood sputum, same amount and color..my xray is ok..the one in the tissue inside the cup..do u still remember the final result of her CT scan or tests? please

Hello everyone, just a quick question. So my lower right abdomen area started hurting on Saturday after I sneezed and it’s been sore whenever I press on the area. I made the mistake of googling it and the results were appendicitis. Now, I am a bit concerned, but I don’t have any symptoms of appendicitis other then that pain. The pain isn’t excruciating it’s very mild. Also I was helping my grandma clean her garage on Friday and I may have pulled a muscle carrying heavy things. I do not have a fever, I’m full of energy, and I feel fine other then the fact it’s sore when I apply pressure or move a certain way. I’m sure if it was appendicitis it wouldn’t have lasted 3 days with mild pain, right? What do you guys think appendicitis or not? Thanks Lord bless❤️ Philippians 4:13
Aw I am so sorry to hear that, I am praying you feel better. Perhaps it’s a pulled muscle but if the pain is really bad, you should go to the doctor. My pain is starting to go away, and I don’t think appendicitis gets better without treatment so I don’t think it’s appendicitis. I hope you feel better.
@Geoff Mclay, If it really hurts that bad to move you should probably go get it checked out to be safe than sorry. I am really sorry to hear yours hurts very badly. May The Lord heal you and give you peace not to worry :) Get well soon

Perfect. Really good. Short, simple and straight to the point. Thank you.
Watching this from South America where I work in a public hospital with CAT scans, ultra sounds, TC and blood tests.
take it easy man
physical examination is the basis. What will you do if, for example, you do not have power? or in field conditions?
But first, do the examination
Exactly!! That sounded like South America has no or less access to scans, ultrasounds and all other tools.. 🤦🏻♀️
