"Right after the first lesson, my director told me I had already improved. It was easy to work with Amy: she has the rare and beautiful quality of being a shining person, solar and with huge energy to give..." Daniele Favilli Actor
"I have gone through speech therapy my entire life. I have also been teased about a speech impediment my entire life. No one could convince me to open up and really work on my voice, until I met Amy. She creates a very inviting and encouraging environment. Working on a "downfall" is such a venerable time but with Amy, I was always eager to receive feedback from her. " Bo Roberts Model, Actor
"Amy is a sheer delight to work with! Her 'amiable' nature and intuitive teaching style make working with dialects both an entertaining and natural experience. I look forward to training with her again and again in the future!" Mara Junot Voice-Over Specialist
"I was talking to my husband today after practicing from our tapes, and he said that this is the best improvement in accent he had ever heard from me!"

Am I the only one who fell in love with her? I mean, isn't she the most adorable person you've ever met?
you have such a contagious smile love it
Amy's beauty is something elegant in all ways. Her features are like that of a Queen.
I TOTALLY (!) love to hear and talk American English. In Italian, my language, we use to melodize (and often enphatize) our speech the same way you do, to give a specific emotional meaning to the sentence apart from words. We also tend to prefer the vocal flow, using lots of contractions and elisions. I think it's quite an outstanding similarity. Thank you for these wonderful lessions!
I'm from Philippines and would gladly to learn about how to do the American accent, and I was really great to see these videos of yours here on youtube. AWESOME! :) These videos would really help me a lot for my speech class. Thank you so much for these, miss Amy!

I kinda fell in love twice during this, and when I went to vainly announce this in the comments because I think there's somehow someone out there in the interwebs who gives more than 0 shits, and noticed that I wasn't the only one.

just constructive criticism,
we don't usually say "brilliant" we would say awesome or cool
and we don't say ahdults, we say uhdults... schwa!

Is the "30's-60s" Dialogue from a play? If yes. Which play? ;)
i dont know why they "dislike" !!!! 😮
I enjoyed playing Vivian for the "30's-60's" dialogue practice, even though I'm a boy.
thank you.. but can you please recommend me a movie??
where can i get the paper she is holding?
Great videos! I hope that I will acquire AmE accent :D Greetings!
you have 1 pretty smile. lindo demais
In love with your green glittering eyes
It's interesting in listening to you talk; I mean talking in your normal accent. Every now and again, in a subtle way, I can just hear the odd slight different accent; English sneaks in... And yes; I am English! ;-)
It may have been a slip but I think it's a good idea. Shakespeare with contemporary intonation. Start with Ophelia as a valley girl.
@eaglesgogirl As an American, yep, I totally understand. And you're right. I do believe most of us classify "British accent" to somehow almost always mean posh, and very few understand just how diverse the language is. Out of curiosity, what would you consider (if you HAD to try and make a similarity that is), but what would you or others maybe consider the equivalent version of what would be an "American posh" accent? I can pick up "poshness" pretty much everywhere except Wales, but just me
thanks alot...i loooooooove u..:)
me too
She is beautiful
Ами, вы великолепны! Ах, эти зеленые глаза! Вы неотразима!
That smile :')
i swear i've fallen in love with you
Hi Amy, where are you from?
You where working and use the word brilliant, In my opinion that is really the most use catch work for UK English speakers to use for ie-good,great, awesome and sometimes negative twist. ie- darn, shoot, damn, when the unexpected happens. I would try to use that word less or use something else, That is if your try"n to pull off a great American speech norm's. (see how laze I wrote things,) try'n ,,norm's
in fact, se is an actress
beautiful smile
could you give me english language lesson please
A lot of these stresses are like in Aussie!
I got disappointed when you said it wasn't the trans-atlantic! I would LOOOVE to do the trans-atlantic, that's one of my favourite ones that you do! :D
I like , I like nice video
+DANI G.V Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about online american accent training try Vaxicorn Instant Accent Guide ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend got amazing success with it.
It's not sad! It's just different!
great ... I need saptitiles please
@eaglesgogirl I think (bracing myself) the valley girl American would sort of be "viewed" like the Geordie accent, re: representation. I live in New England and have while I may speak abruptly compared to the southern drawl, I have no discernable accent that one might expect from Boston, Southie or otherwise,...not Maine, or NH. If anything I may sound like I'm from CT. But I am "sans accent" per American standards (just my lack of drawl or lack of uptalk revealing where I'm NOT from).
You look absolutely gorgeous but maybe it's because of your continuous and vibrant facial expression so everytime I pause the video it gives me something funny =))
Anyways thanks a lot Amy.
@eaglesgogirl Geordie is very hard to understand! I agree. My best friend (from 10 years ago) married a man from Scotland (and they moved there)-the wedding was Scotish. I couldn't understand a bloody word from half of their friends who flew in, I felt embarassed! Then I thought, yep, they must have fun with this too knowing they can say all sorts of things to we Americans and we can't figure it out. I'm sure they had a ball with us in our confusion. I'm still a sucker for accents!
