Probably because of a few reasons: One it Could be, not guaranteed, that Gaither Vocal Band are Christian. Two The committee's haven't heard of them which means we need to get them out there!

Brits and Americans have such an interesting relationship. I'm an American from the French and Indian Wars, and probably more English than the Queen, seriously, some of my ancestors fought at Agincourt. I'm a Southerner, which you will notice if you check a map, is very English, so we have this strange affinity. Brothers, cousins, whatever you want to call it, we are inextricably linked.
