Thanks for the info. much appreciate it. But what about transmission fitment on coyote swaps? Do you know if the 6R/10R will fit an SN95 body without major surgery? Is there any support for this swap?
Wow PBTH seems to be on top of the comments here! Let me take a swing. I got a 2013 F150 Coyote motor for a 97 Mustang swap and after painfully figuring out that I HAVE to use the power steering pump for hydro-boost brakes, your kit is coming in the mail along with a new front cover. Luckily my F150 motor has a dual 6-rib balancer. My question is what am I supposed to do with the oil filter/cooler location? I'm more than likely going to delete the cooler but where do I mount the oil filter after that? Will it fit behind the modular PS pump? What about the sensor that plugs into the oil cooler? Thanks!
Blake, thank you for choosing PBH. One note I will say, even if your F150 is dual 6 rib, the timing cover will need to be changed out to a Mustang design for our parts to work. The F150 is missing an idler we need, if you already did this disregard the message. As for the oil filter, if using the F150 housing it will clear with the oil cooler omitted. Once that is done you can run the FL500 filter on the f150 housing and it will clear our system and most sway bar options. For a look at this, just check out our relocation kit. It is based on the F150 oil filter neck pbhperformance.com/product/coyote-oil-filter-relocation-housing/ The sensors is the oil pressure sender, it does not need to be plugged in on Gen 1 or 2 swaps as it is only for a warning lamp and does not impact operation of the engine.
Awesome info! Now can I use the 2nd gen power pack on 2011 to 2014 f150 coyote? And 1st gen coyote power pack doesn't have the wiring for a/c correct? Lol I'm doing swap in 96 gt wanted to keep a/c.
Well the AC has nothing to do with the control pack. No control pack will control the ac compressor function. When doing a swap, you want to keep the pcm and engine from the same generation. There are control packs for Gen 1 that will work. Why do you want to mix them?
I have a 2004 Ford Mustang V6 but I would like to put a 2013 Ford Mustang GT engine in it how much would you charge to put the GT engine in my V6 Mustang
Dimitri, It is hard to put a price on a swap like that. A typical swap can take anywhere from 100-150 hours of work. There are a lot of things that you may or may not need depending on what your doing with the car or even budget. As an example your car is a v6 so you would most likely be swapping differentials that is not part of a swap so the cost would be even higher than just a coyote swap. Factors like ac, power steering, and even gauges will vary.
Hi , have you had any enquiries or do you have any information on parts for Australian 5.0l supercharged coyote falcons? I'm After a quality power steering pump but don't have many options here.
Vick, we actually do not perform the swaps here at PBH, but for a list of builders just let us know where you are located and we can look at our dealer program to get you options.
You will need a 11-up Mustang coyote alternator is using our Speed Drive. You can also opt for the 15-17 f150 ecoboost alternator as well with our latest brackets.
Info is great, you just answered my question about the NA kit then adding a supercharger later!!
Awesome. We have upfit kits for all of the available supercharger setups. Edelbrock and gen 5 whipple will be the next to release.
Found my A/C bracket!! Ordering it next week!
Great!
Damn Frank! Very informative video, I enjoyed it. I didn't know about the models of alternators, luckily, the one I purchased was off an EcoBoost.
Yes sir. There are quite a few out there.
I learned a lot thank you some of my questions where answered
Nice. I can not wait to do my swap coyote in my fox body. Tank you
I am using the mustang gt electric assist power steering, gets rid of hydraulics and and all the mess that goes with pulleys, belts and tubing.
works for the factory cars and should for you for you if its all hooked up.
Do you deliver to the Middle East Saudi Arabia sd7 swap
Is email the only way to contact PBH?
Can you also use the power steering pump from the 4.0L V6? I know it's different from the pump on the 4.6L but any chance the mounting holes line up?
I just posted a link on the Facebook venue of "Coyote Swapping the World!" I hope it helps educate and sends you guys some business. :)
Thank you Bobby!

Sorry I was trying to ask if the coyote alternator will work as or do I need to change the pulley

I'm about to swap my 96 bronco what can I use for my power steering on it??

Shane, we have not. Please send photos of the current setup to info@pbhperformance.com so we can look at it for you.
I would like to drop the 5.8 in a 2005 mustang and was wondering if it would work also would the Boss intake work with it. thank you Paul
Paul, when you say a 5.8, are you referencing the GT500 engine from 2013-14?
Yes
What about a kit for a 95 Ranger?? Are there any options out there
Our accessory drive should fit the bat of a Ranger.
What does a coyote swap cost done by pbh?
69 mach 1???
And time period?

Does this cause interference with the stock oil filter location?
HanSolo it does not. Stock oil filter housings from Mustang and F150 all clear our Speed Drive.
I’m doing a f-150 2011 coyote on a 2008 mustang what alternator do I need?
You will need a 11-up Mustang coyote alternator is using our Speed Drive. You can also opt for the 15-17 f150 ecoboost alternator as well with our latest brackets.
So I can use the mustang alternator and put it right on passenger side
So the 2020 is the clutch drive
What do I need to swap v8 in s550 v6
it would be best to start with a complete donor car or trade yours for a v8 car.
My motor is a 2020
