I’ve been weight training seriously for the last 2 years and now I’m getting back into cardio to prep for NYPD. I don’t want to give up my weight training and I’ve been reading that one tends to steal from the other, seeing you accomplish both strength and endurance is a big inspiration for me to aim for the impossible and chase the hard shit!

At 6:59 I see extreme internal rotation motion of your right hip at Toe-off/Initial swing of gait phase. Movement nerd, I know, but it could represent a muscular imbalance or tightness which could make you susceptible for an injury.
yeah i definitely have that, been to a chiropractor/ run lab, have yet to fix it but im aware & stretching/ strengthening hip flexors more than usual so hopefully comes along

Hey brother, love the content. I have been in the process of adapting a lot of the things your preach (running, lifting, clean diet) into my life for the past few months. One area however I really struggle with is finding my community. Most of my best friends that I've had for 20 years now aren't so focused on improving their lives in these ways and while I don't struggle with fomo from not hanging with them I haven't really been able to find anyone with similar values and goals as me. Any advice on how to meet new people?

Advice - rewatch your videos and notice when you say ‘uhh’ / ‘umm’ and what makes you do that. Over time you’ll get much better at camera talking.

Currently trying to change my routine to hybrid, how does one navigate training legs and running in their split, if my routine is as follows:
Monday 600 400 200 intervals, Push
Tuesday Steady state run, Pull
Wednesday Speedwork, shoulders & Arms
Repeat, active rest on sunday
Do 3 full body workouts instead or just follow his split

How do you combine leg training in the gym with running? I feel heavy legdays impact my running negatively because of the soreness...
i do them on mondays. easy run in AM, usually no run tuesday. more you avoid/skip them, more sore they are when you actually do them.

I get the gist of all this, but hybrid isn’t anything ground breaking. It’s just cross training being marketed under a trendy term - aka “hybrid” - that all these fitness creators are popularizing. They just focus on promoting the term “hybrid” to promote their latest collab and for clout versus providing educational material rooted in science on how to effectively cross train.
There’s plenty of educational or scientific content out there. That’s not really the point of this video
