I like a lot of things about your channel, but I love the respectful, caring way you treat these animals.
Awesome chicken turtle! My first time seeing, knowing of that species.
I like 🐢 🐢 🐢
I am so glad that you watered the Amphiuma. It looked like it was in some distress. I also appreciated your sharing the fact that Amphiumas pack quite a powerful set of jaws. They will bite, and the bite is painful. My experience with being bitten was my fault and I gained much respect from it. The worst part about the bite is that it isn't a strike. They hold on and it is tough to get it to let go!
Baby snakes are so cute! And of course they are beautiful like most snakes. Some of Gods finest work☺🐍-this looks more like a duck to me.
That turtle was awesome looking, I've never seen one before, this was my very first one thanks to your channel!💛

My favorite, the cornsnake.
Wingsandbeaks from Oklahoma here. So glad to meet an ampheuma (sp?). I’ve been watching your channel from two or three years and I’ve never seen one. Amazing animal. ‘Never even heard of a chicken turtle! Beautiful turtle. Great video, as always.
Nice Amphiuma! I just found my lifer yesterday! It was only a few inches long though lol.
corn snakes are the best
Yes! Vid before work! Love it. Thanks mate
I wish more people were like you @nkfherping
He's just chill when he sees a pgymy rattlesnake and I'm like so excited when I saw a eastern indigo snake.
Awesome video Noah! I just loved those salamanders......they are so big with a puppy dog face 😊. I’m glad you guys had a good trip and I hope you had an awesome holiday! I ended up sick 🤒, but I will get through it. I look forward to more videos! Thanks for all of the great content. You are definitely my favorite herper 😃. Take care! 😄💙🐬🐊🐍
This is my first time seeing a chicken turtle. Beautiful species! I'm afraid to ask why they call them chicken turtles. Those amphiumas were huge!
Tastes like chicken? Bet not as good as Hoover Chicken!
Most notable find imo was that NoFla skunk ape present for a few shots.
Amphiuma kinda reminds me of a siren.
the music bangs
Those amphiumas are bizarre. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, a lot of species that we don't usually see! Great video!
As a native Floridian who cut my teeth on North Florida herping, that was definitely a different pattern on the corn snake belly. I've never seen one like that.
We are all waiting with bated breath to see who wins the Giving Tuesday golden tickets and will step with Noah and Orianne's CEO into the glass elevator and inherit the entire state of Georgia/all its snakes when NKF retires. Great video as always!!
8:26 that’s a cool shot
Is that background music intentional, or is my phone losing it? Lol if it's intentional, please let this video be the only one with it, as I can barely hear you and it's kinda annoying to be honest. Otherwise, great video as always! Keep up the hard work!
Very cool, always learning from ya, thanks!
When I was a kid growing up some friends and I were playing in a ditch of water and we found an Amphiuma and didn't know what the Hell that was some people said it was an eel and someone told us it was a Lamprey It freaked me out looking like a snake with legs, Wow now I know what I saw after all these years it was an Amphiuma 🤔🤔
love your videos
@LizardPlayzGANG bru
Very nice
Great video!
Well… I guess if you can’t find a fence, a tire will do. Or a log.
Yo bright day as always 🙌🏻
Is it common to find a chicken turtle in Oklahoma because my brother used to have a pet one we found it on the side of the road
Those amphiumas look like a cross between a salamander and a lungfish, or something from the Carboniferous. I didn’t know that they stay under objects like this. I always thought that they burrow down in the mud. The corn snake looks fire orange and stunning. There has been long since I saw a bright corn of a respectable size in the channel. The chicken turtle is the most pathetic turtle in existence. No matter its adaptations, it is the shortest-living turtle on record and it’s only legacy to mankind is that it served well as food, hence its name. Nobody remembers it compared to other endangered turtles.
No music please...
Do you do this a job? Like a observer for population or Biologist type of thing?
What part of florida are u herping in?
Because of these videos I never have to go herping myself ever again. I can just stay home.
Im screaming at my phone... 🫥🪱
The link for the raffle tickets does not appear to be working. My son and I have been following your channel for years and I want to get some of those tickets for a chance for him to win. Thanks!
The raffle closed last night and a winner was drawn today, but hopefully I’ll be able to do more raffles like this in the future.
@@NKFherping Ok, thanks for the response. My son will be bummed. You are a bit of a hero to him. Do you have any kind of merchandise? I need to get him something for Christmas.
👍👍👍👍
Mean, it looks like a pet didn’t bite at all we could pet it. I’m pretty sure it’s a pet didn’t even she wants I meant my brother has a pet turtle does a chicken turtle
Which part of Florida does the yellow rat snake replace the grey rat snake?, all do they both live along side each other?.
I’m in Citrus County North Central Florida have come across primarily yellow rats but occasionally a gray rat will turn up
@@nodemever3291 Thanks for info.
What's with the porno music intro?
I'm thinking the majority of your subscribers aren't scientists and know a lot. So instead of saying the genus stuff tell us the differences between the turtles, snakes etc. Love your videos but I have no knowledge and that's what I'm here for.
