To fully appreciate the nuances of a performance, the song has to be in a key comfortable for the singer's range. Given that she was singing instead of him, she just adjusted herself to the circumstances. But I'm sure that if she was to include this in her album she would prefer to change the key to a higher one. I hear that old Salvador is ill so can't rehearse in Kiev, I wonder how they know he'll be well by the 7th May. I wouldn't hold your breath over how he'll perform it, he'll do it exactly like he did it in the national final. He'll wander on stage in an ill fitting suit stand in front of the mic stand then sing the song. When he's finished he'll wander off again. The Eurovision production team are clearly moving mountains to make it into three minutes of engaging TV. They are very good at that sort of thing.

He has a serious heart disease, the others don't. Mother nature isn't fair either. He can't stay away from his medical team for too long.
