I love Wheelock chime strobes because they sounds like one of those 90s electronic Toy pianos.

I use the Wheelock CH70 with strobe in restrooms. Everything else are Wheelock NS horn/strobe and HS horn/strobe but restrooms are Wheelock CH70 with strobe. The reason for this is because, restroom doors are often fire rated and the alarm is not always heard very well from the hall. However, restrooms are typically small and contain things like ceramic tile walls and tile floors and metal stalls, making the space VERY acoustically vibrant. So, you light one of those little fire crackers off in there, things would get a bit spicy. Echoing around in there good! So, as rule of thumb, you don't put a horn/strobe in a small bathroom. You just don't. It's like your 3 year old niece needing a night light so you go rolling in her room with a ball field light. It's like no! So, I use the Wheelock CH70 with strobe in the restroom instead. CH70's are much quieter and easier on the hearing than horn/strobe in the bathroom. And, I usually like to code the CH70's in code 3 (temporal pattern).

Yes it is and I've seen these on Simplex 4050-80s.
