10 Things about the Immari
#1 - Space Dwarves
They’re space dwarves. They’re dwarves in space. Exactly how you’d imagine them to be. They’re stocky, gruff, and they got big beards. They’ve got belt buckles and boots. If you’re a dwarf lover, then you’re gonna want to hear this because these engineers of war also known as the space dwarves of Ravaged Star are rocking the tabletops in many a wargamers home.
#2 - They got big robots!
If you like mechs, there's mechs. And they’re piloted by the dwarves. Granted some of them are remote control such as the Scout operated by this Mech Master, but for the most part these Diplomats and Ambassadors who by the way wields a hammer he calls “The Negotiator” are stomping their way across battlefields in the galaxy.
#3 - There’s Shieldmaidens
I mean, this makes me happy. I love the different interpretations of all of the dwarven warriors that could possibly exist in the galaxy. So when I saw how intimidating these Shieldmaidens looked, I was excited to share them with the community. Dare I say they can win in a fight against their counterparts, the Shieldwardens? I suppose that’s up for debate, what do you think?
#4 - They got magic
Like literally they can manipulate matter and move objects and destroy minds if they really wanted to. Such as the case with this Architect; wouldn’t you want him fighting on your side? Leading your army against whatever foe is foolish enough to wage war on these grizzled veterans.
#5 - They were YOUR choice
The Immari or engineers of war were your choice to make. I just asked a question: Out of these possibilities: Robots, orks, elves, or space dwarves you guys chose the dwarves and apparently they won by a landslide. Props to my buddy Tom for suggesting them in the first place and it’s just fun for me to say, “Tom, it’s all your fault”. So if you ever see Tom and you want to show him your color scheme on your Immari, you can say to him, Tom I chose this color because of you.
#6 - They can be proxies
That’s right. I’ve seen them proxied in other gaming systems. A good example of that is Mikey from Hellstorm Wargaming; look at this awesome army he assembled for his game of Warhammer 40k. Not only did he paint the entire thing, which by the way Tom it’s your fault, he thrashed his enemy without remorse. You should check out the game.
#7 - They’re Flexible
What does that mean Dave? It means they have both fantasy and sci-fi influences. If you gravitate more toward the mystical and magic or even viking inspirations then you can assemble armies catered to this theme. Combine with magic and close-combat prowess and this can easily be the flavor you enjoy. On the flipside, if you wanna lean into the mechanical and you prefer tech, prepare to flex HARD. Cause the engineers of war got that covered. Dudes, stompy robots, need I say more? Also drone controllers, yeah there’s drones too. It’s pretty sweet.
#8 - They’re the Good Guys
If you like being an honorable protagonist in the story you forge on your tabletop then you are the Immari. I’ve noticed it’s quite popular in various gaming systems to portray factions as either evil or how shall we say, morally flexible? Granted there are also good guys who exist and in the case of these space dwarves they are no exception. If you are in need, you could go to an Immari and ask for help and not feel ashamed, they will receive you with open arms.
#9 - They’ve got lots of firepower
Cannons, rockets, lasers, projectiles; if this is your flavor of gameplay then you’ll love the variety of weapons at your disposal. The arsenal of goodies that exist in this faction is unlike any other. Like take a look at these pathfinders, who doesn’t want a Dwarf with goggles and a Minigun? I don’t know about you, but this makes me happy.
#10 - They’re the last of their kind
According to legend, Navirr the God of Wrath, gene-spliced many species over thousands of years to create the Gorkog; the resident alien bug faction of Ravaged Star, who ultimately decimated billions of Immari space dwarves. The dwarves you see today are the survivors of their entire race, they are the engineers of war, the military remnant of their species. Which makes sense if you think about it; they were the best ones to defend themselves.

Love it!

MAY KHORNE HONOR YOU WITH MANY BOONS, MIGHTY LORD!!!!
Sorry, had to geek for a moment. Samurai Space Orks would be the best honestly.
Nice! More facts on other factions, please!
Gorkog vid is next.
@@davidnordquist Awesome! Thank you!
...... I didnt see any 8 second squats in the video? MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!
JUST MOVE!!! But that’s a fantastic idea for the next vid
Can’t wait!!!
Can’t wait to see your paint jobs.
I purchased the mechanical mayhem 2 player set, what would you recommend as 2 additional miniature boxes to support the set?. Thank you.
The Unyielding War pack and the Champions of the Immari War Pack if you’re collecting space dwarf Immari. If you’re collecting Veil-Touched from the set, I’d recommend Horrors of the Veil and Armored Carnage War Packs.
When are you gits gonna put this on local gaming stores? I hate the gw approach of once it’s gone there gone!!! Are you doing the same approach (it looks like it). If so not a fan
I really didnt want to do this preorder business. if I put my money towards it I want it to ship withing a few weeks. I've pre ordered things and lost interest in them by the time they have got to me in the past. from he way he made it sound is this is a limited run and this is the only way to get these models and that is supper disappointing. my other issue is I don't have even $427 laying around for the models I would really like let alone $1.5k.
@@rmfberry261thank you for your honesty. The plan is for retail after the campaign. I’d recommend waiting until then before you order. You’ll have a chance to pick up the box from the shelf in the shop and take your time examining exactly what you want. Plus you’ll have the satisfaction of buying it then opening it right away. I’m definitely not gonna try to persuade you to get something under sub-optimal circumstances.
Should you choose to change your mind and order through the GameFound (but again, in your case I’d recommend against it) Wave 1 Ravaged Star miniatures will not be available for preorder after Aug 9th. That includes all three 2-player starter boxes and all the Veil-Touched War Packs.
Back to the retail plan for a second. Wayland Games is our uk/eu distributor. They even had it on shelves for UK Games Expo. It was rad seeing it fly off the shelf.
@@davidnordquist I will try my best to patiently wait lol. Thank you for taking the time and letting me know i miss understood and will be able to pick up those sweet sweet minis after the campaign at a pace of my bank accounts allowance.
Will these eventually be released as STLs or modular bits?
Wonder if there’s a Tau analogue in this game?
❤️🤘🔥
