This isn't a perfect method. Modern science does not ensure the accuracy of usage of any drug to get accurate truth-telling. I am all for getting justice but we also need to follow the science. The doctor, who was a science enthusiast, would have wanted that for us.

There are countries like the UK and Australia that have universal healthcare and all citizens have healthcare access included in their taxes, no one thinks doctor's profession is "cheapened" and women's safety is not more at risk because of it.
