@@ForeverChiIIin klipsch has a good subwoofer, from what ive heard/read, it only supports dolby sound (no DTS) and atmos effects are mediocre/average based on reviews. The system gets loud but otherwise nothing spectacular. Also lots of bugs and firmware issues with the unit which killed the 1200 unfortunately, and why no one talks about it anymore. It was on my list too, but i didn’t want to chance any issues because im tired of problems with soundbars. The only saving grace, assuming everything works with the 1200 out of the box, is the ethernet port. Every soundbar should have one to avoid wifi/disconnect issues without having to buy a new router or mess with their current one. My JBL 1300x has been solid and ive connected ethernet to my router. The system overall performs admirably well, gets loud, and the mids have finally been adjusted since the 9.1. Atmos/dtsx effect are superb. The scene in jurassic park where the car is in the tree and the sam neil and the kid are climbing down - literally sounds all over my ceiling with precision. It was very cool to say the least. The subwoofer is off the hook compared to nearly all soundbars right now - klipsch is probably the only that could touch it. It doesnt hit 20hz @100db like what i am used to with home theater, but it is a noble piece of equipment and provides the necessary engagement in war movies, and action flicks.
@@garretts431 Thanks for the write-up man. I have the 1200, been an early adopter since I preordered and I’ve been wanting to love it forever. Constantly waiting on firmware updates, the software is definitely fickle and strange. When it works it’s awesome, but it has a lot of oddities. So basically I’m looking to potentially upgrade or change in the future if this thing doesn’t work itself out.
I was following your videos a lot. your content is really great and totally different from other sound system reviewers. I would love to hear a lot about jbl 1300. Looking forward to it.. Subscribed finally. Appreciate your efforts.
Hey already found an issue i cant correct. DTSX content displays as DTSX Neural X. JBL 9.1 was able to turn off Neural X by holding atmos button for 10secs, but for the JBL 1300x that option doesnt work. Wonder if you can figure out how to turn off Neural X cuz I cant at all lmao
Thank you for this update- I found out about your channel now while searching for videos about the 1300x. Will eagerly await the full review! :) Thanks!
Hi, when I listen to music on the JBL1300 through bluetooth with the detachable speakers plugged into the main bar, the main bar doesn’t make any sound, only the detachable speakers do. And once I detach them, then the main bar starts playing. I wonder why the whole bar can’t play music to enjoy the full power of the set without detaching the rear speakers. Do you know how to fix this ? Thanks
Pls let us know when ll the full review be available. Waiting for your review so eagerly as I wanted to gift this to my husband on his birthday which is this Saturday. Hoping to see your review before that!!
This seems like a good improvement over the bar 9.1 - I thought my bar 9.1 was faulty the other week as it wouldn’t connect to the rear speakers for a good few days. Sometimes it needs some real perseverance to get them to charge and connect correctly. I’d love to upgrade.
But on us amazon there is named jbl bar 1300x pro also Indian model have named pro before model name please confirm i want to purchase jbl bar 1300x in india
Can you do a video where you show your room / rooms layout please that you test these devices in. Love your videos but it's the one thing that just annoys me. Maybe you've done a previous one and I've missed it (apologies if so) but as we all know room shape and size plays the biggest factor on these devices. P.s I don't care if your pants are on show on the floor 😂
Love your videos. In the market for a new sound bar. In between Sony a5000 with the rs5 rears and this. They are both in the same price range. I have limited room below my tv. Do the end speakers have to go on for any firmware updates or initial setup?? With the end speakers off, this sound bar does fit between the feet of my tv. Though it is too long with them on.
The end speakers have to go on in initial setup and updates. But otherwise you can keep them charged with a USBc cable … so you would need to move your Soundbar very infrequently … just updates really
It would be interesting if you could do a comparison with sony ht-a7000 + sw 5 + rs5, since they are the 2 sets that fill this niche market with truly wireless rears. Of course they re not at the same price point, but if JBL could manage to offer close performance then it would be a great sign!
High quality video again, can’t wait for the full review and glad to see your channel is growing👍
Awesome quick look video - I’ll be back for the full review!
Keep up the great job! 😎👍
😀👍
Probably one of the best sound bars that I have seen in a long time. This is a win for sure. I think I’m about to pick one up.
Just did - amazing sound and the subwoofer is leader in its class.
@@garretts431 between this and the cinema 1200?

My decision was the samsung until i dug and found this. The detachable speakers are really the the winner for me if they function properly

When does this go on sale?
Edit: In the US?
A few days ago in the US

990B vs Ht-a9+sw5 vs 1300x. Triple Threat match! Can’t wait for the review!
Decent lineup though I would wait for the C
@@neverenoughtech the c feels like another b based on specs and articles.
According to a samsung video the c just integrates a samsung tv more that’s it. Dont have a samsung tv so compare with the b please.

Super Review. May I know how would JBL BAR 1300 compare with Samsung Q990B? Thanks...
At the end of the video I mentioned that would be a question addressed in the full review. I don’t have the full answer yet … I need to listen more

Please please please let us know if the sound stage sounds wide. Especially since the bar is so darn short width wise.
Yeah I’ll address that
I am confused a lot bro please help me i am from india which model is going to release in india jbl bar 1300 or jbl bar 1300x
1300x is US only so that means your sub will be 10 not 12 inches and the USB ort will not do music playback - the only differences I'm aware of ..

@JBL BAR 1300 you will only receive the 1300
But the 1300 in india doesn't come with the same specs few of the driver's were so missed 😢
Any ETA on the full review lol?

Can't wait for the review! But one question I have dose this bar support 120 hz pass-through?
Nope just 60hz. I mentioned it in this video (in passing) I suppose 4k60 hz and Dolby vision along with HDR10 (which I did not mention)

Best single bass module maybe

According to you, which soundbar is the best of the year 2023 ?
That's the most mentally awkward part for me is how short these jbl bars are without the surrounds. Especially when you have a big tv.
