  • This is part 1 in a 2 part series of how I use a new strategy to build a mountain for the upper level of my o scale model train layout. I use the following materials in this video:
    3/4 inch plywood
    2 inch foam core
    Locktite
    Hot Glue
    ScultaMold
    Plaster Cloth
Rock Molds - See video on my channel for this technique
    Camo Brown Spray Paint

Looks very nice. Great Job! I use Woodland Scenics Shaper Sheets first then Plaster Cloth.

Like the way you did this.
    Seems simple and lightweight.
    Thanks for sharing your technique.

Really like the outcome of your hill. I’ll try this method

I apply Sculptamold with my bear hands and put on so it looks like cottage cheese but do a small amount of leveling but not smoothing it out and it looks great that way

I am planning on making a layout and I want to add a mountain with a tunnel in it, how would I add the tunnel?

Just saying you need to do something different with the lights in your glasses

You need to speak a little louder because I got my phone cranked up and my speaker and I could barely hear you

Next time take your glasses off or move in a way the lights aren't reflecting off your glasses
