I actually went to Wannado City when i was super young and my afterschool program would take us to field trips there :) and you pronounce it like "Want to do" City because it was all about what you wanted to do in the City.
I feel that this DVD was intended to be a personalized souvenir for those who did the activity at Wannado City, hence its strange lack of any finishing.
More hidden gems. Always thankful for the content you're sharing with us! Nzinga's segments with Tommy were so underrated (although I still loved Tara too).
It's always cool to see your Cartoon Network collection grow. You keep finding some of the most unique, coolest stuff. Thank you for sharing your rare finds with us.
I would start a physical media collection but I feel like you can overcome two problems by buying a few 8TB hard drives, ripping shows off streamers with yt-dlp, and setting up a Jellyfin system.
Cartoon Network was great throughout the 2000s but 2004 2005 when they updated the logo to CN and had a 3D city with the cartooons to interact in was the best time for the network
I did this when I was little! The was the Cartoon Network experience at Wannado City, where kids could pretend they were tv stars. It’s a theme park! You could buy these after participating. This would have been a kid’s souvenir.
Dude I went to wannado city as a kid and was a part of one of these!!!!! Wow memory unlocked that's crazy!!! The place was in Florida it was a kids theme park called Wannado city (pronounced "wanna do" like "do what you wanna do") and it was a giant indoor city with a police station. Fire dept, news station, publix grocery store, and even this cartoon networks Friday's thing!! And kids could run around and play pretend and dress up as any job they wanted , qnd they would earn money for the theme park !!!
i have a couple of rare cartoon network items that are worth a lot! i recently got a vhs of powerpuff girls came with a rare paper worth a lot i am guessing it from the year 2000 but most people would not use it but throw it away lucky find!
Little thing to help for future dvds on ps5, if you hit the options button it will bring up how long the disc is Other then that, I still can’t believe you snagged this for $100, the menus look bootleg and and it doesn’t look like much is here but shit this is just a really neat part of the collection
Ah, thanks. I think I was getting confused because either the PS3 or PS4 you can click triangle to bring up that hub menu and there was an option on there to see it. Yeah I believe the menus are intentionally like that. You ever go see like a local theater play or musical, and they're selling DVDs after the show? I think this was just like that.
@@JamieSnowdenYT yes that’s how it worked on ps3 but they changed it to options on ps4 Yea I guess you’re right, I never really had dvds from local theaters and such because a I live in a small town where the only theater production we have are from the high school, but I did have a dvd from some show we went to in Tennessee and it had similar menus
I did not know multiple versions existed. Admittedly, I assumed the possibility... but glad to know others are out there! Did it have similar cover/box art?
For those of you who informed me of this, I greatly appreciate it. It appears my channel has gone under fire/attack. Multiple of my old videos have been copyright claimed and been blocked or I am not receiving any ad revenue. I contacted RUclips partnership support. Hoping to get this resolved soon.
I seriously wish I was so lucky to find these Rare Cartoon Network & Hanna-Barbera VHS Tapes and DVDs like you, man!

Oh I see! "Wanna Do". Thanks for that!

I thought the same.
@@JamieSnowdenYT Another video of this exists on RUclips, confirming what I thought.
That's exactly what it is lol I did one of these as a kid!
Your cartoon network DVD and vhs collection is amazing. If only I could afford all of these.
Bro! Your collection is immense and very rare.. you have so many great finds the Thrift Shop
Can’t compete with

2:04 was not expecting the Astro Boy theme playing in this! That's a pleasant surprise.

Was CN Fridays filmed in Atlanta, GA back in 2003-07? Physical media is gold rn, hold on to your collections and don't' let go.
I would start a physical media collection but I feel like you can overcome two problems by buying a few 8TB hard drives, ripping shows off streamers with yt-dlp, and setting up a Jellyfin system.
There's also the option of buying the DVD/BD, making ISOs/screenrecords of them, scanning the cover/disc/inserts, and then selling the discs on eBay.
Could you make an ISO of the disk. It feels like Cartoon Network lost media gets found every day

I agree!
The Futurama theme had me dead laughing
I would love to see the CN summer dvd you have 5:39 😮
I REALLY wish I had that

That Fridays DVD is soooo crazy, the blue one. I have one of the older ones but I'd love to add it to my collection

Cartoon Network Wannado City DVD is rare
Awesome video man 😎!
Wow it could be worth a lot of money
I have one of these. It's just a cheap souvenir from a kids' amusement park in South Florida
If only I was THAT lucky like you
I was expecting the rare DVD to be the Cartoon Network Friday block and the new episodes that aired that week. Watching a rehearsal is much better.
I’d like to see the video on it’s own.

I just found one of these a few days ago, though it is a later version of this featuring Tara Sands segments instead. The editing seems even worse.

What happened to your boomerang rebrand rant video?
Good question
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 yeah I looked for his boomerang rebrand rant video and it was gone for some reason.
@@nickgarraud6080 Maybe it got taken down or something.
That's my guess.
