As a Korean-American living in Japan, I want to say that "Crazy Rich Asians" made me proud not only because of what it meant for representation in Hollywood and the West, but also how it showed the Japanese audience that multiculturalism is a real thing, that things aren't simply black and white as they tend to believe. It was exciting to sit there in the theater as an Asian-American among a full Japanese audience because it reminded me that I wasn't alone.
The high amount of masculinity from Chris's look and the contrast of the femininity in Eugene's look is just so visually appealing. The designer instincts of mine are enjoying this way too much. I love both of these looks so much!
Eugene was a producer long before he was a Try Guy so I like how he led the interview. Chris shouldn't chew gum in an interview situation. Pang and Yang were such polar opposites it was an interesting discussion. Chris needs to practice saying the word gay, it doesn't bite you.

Also as they were talking about inclusivity in film, you cannot only have gay people representing the whole queer community. I think it was better that he said LGBTQ+ person rather than lump all non-cishet under the term gay.

I disagree. As a gay asian man myself, I thought Chris showed restraint and respect when considering how to refer to Eugene's sexual identity, especially since he's never explicitly stated specifically what he identifies as, in this interview or otherwise.

Australia has definitely changed since Chris was young.. Our country is now almost 20% asian, considering we are such a diverse country, with large migrant populations from all cultures of the world, that's a large large portion of people.

Hearing about Chris Pang’s experience growing up in Australia is very interesting to me. I am in high school currently and my school is very diverse. I would estimate that almost 45% of the school population is Asian, and another 10% would be African. Maybe it was the area he grew up in or maybe it was the time, but at the moment in most schools it’s very diverse
I feel left out when I was in a British school in Singapore but I still feel left out when I moved back to Taiwan around middle school. I’m probably just weird and don’t fit anywhere. Weirdly enough, I felt comfortable while I went to London for a week for a acting workshop where no one was Asian. Maybe it’s because we were all nerds.
I love how natural Eugene looks in that outfit, especially while sitting next to Chris in a suit. My first thought wasn't "wow, he's wearing a dress", but "wow, look at how amazing that dress suits him!" My mind is slowly getting rid of gender norms and everything, ladies, gentlemen, and gentlethems! It's happening! If only society would come along as quickly...
