Maggie is such an inspirational person in every single way, she's one of my favourite actors ever and has been since Nikita!! She is so incredibly wise, what she said about representations, asian stereotypes and how she fights to empower the Asian American community. Not only that but she is a magnificent actress and a total badass!
Her and Leo were so hilarious togeter and had such great chemistry, I need them to do a comedy together and they literally talked about that in the end of the interview! I know him from Westworld but this is the first time seeing an interview with him and he seems really awesome! :D

Hollywood representation of Asian people is pretty non-inclusive and... plays up racial stereotypes. It's bullshit.
I have so many people who still ask me how I am able to speak English even after I tell them I was born and raised in Chicago....

Started out a little slow on Maggie's part, her answers a bit shallow in terms of depth, but as the interview moved along she gave such elaborate answers that put you in your place; she is a hotty! And l think she would've been so perfect for female roles based on video games like Street Fighter because she's so kick-ass!

You should watch Nikita!! It's an incredible show and there's nothing wrong with Asian people being badass in movies as long as it doesn't get steriotypical. Maggie Q is not a steriotypical asian in Nikita, she's not a ninja running around with a sword but a ghost agent (ex-assasin). Her character there is very well written with a lot of layers. Maggie Q loves doing her own stunts and being in action shows/movies that's why she choses projects like that. :)
I think Asian, African and Indian people have similar life experiences and in sure that there others as well of course, not to single any country out.

I get what you're saying but La Femme Nikita didn't have the huge following that Ian Fleming's "James Bond" has. So of course not a lot of Americans even knew there had been such a series and that they were rebooting it
By repeating how Americans look down on them, I feel that Asians are literally looking down on themselves by focusing on this issue.
What's "White male privilege" exactly? If I build my own home and create my own art and others decide to come and live with me, doesn't mean I'm obligated to live in deference to those other people. I wonder when we'll see more non-Asians in Korean film, or Chinese film, or any Asian film industry?
