Jeremiah Green putting on an absolute clinic in this performance. One of the all-time great drummers of his generation and beyond. godspeed, JG, we love you.
@@claytonbiggsbee3539 I have been a fan of MM since 03’ and I havent remembered a single member of the band, other than Issac of course - the band. No disrespect to any current or former members. I’m usually pretty damn good at diving into the members of my favorite band or at least knowing the core group. This is not the case with this Modest 🐁.
I definitely overlooked the magnificence of this song upon its release. Did not love/hate it... They performed it live in Asheville, NC to open the current tour and it blew me away. Keep coming back to it! I was so impressed with Damon's drumming, it really drove the performance. Could not help to think of Jeremiah💔. Although he was not behind the kit, these are all his unique arrangements 🤯. He's left such a mark on Modest Mouse's music and the music world in general.
Ive seen modest mouse probably 50 times since 2007. I can confirm this years tour is the best theyve ever been since 2007 I saw them 3 times this tour and they just kept getting better each shiow. By the time I saw them in DC it was hard to believe how good they sounded. Just epic epic epic stuff.
Love you guys, this band has the best fandom in the world and im reminded everytime I go see them play, your all beautiful people if your here for the jams
I can hear the tiniest snippet of MM on the radio and immediately Brock will pop into my head. What an individualistic band that somehow broke thru. Woulda never guessed that to be true when I was a young kid like you might be now reading this and wondering what will come of this life too
Unbelievably excited to see you this Thursday, Modest Mouse!!!!!!!!!!! 13th time is lucky, right?? I love you guys!! Thank you for the amazing new album!!!
It's really obvious in his reviews that he isn't a fan of Indie Rock. Just wish he wouldn't take it all out on these guys. They really are one of the best lyrically and musically that I've heard. I was actually mad after watching his review on The Golden Casket. I've let that go since there's worse things to be mad about.
I love both of these live versions. They both feel a lot more laid-back. Especially We Are Between running mostly on acoustic guitar rather than going hard on his electric like usual.
i will just listen to this over and over and over and over and over and over and idgaf and over and over and over and over & over and over and again and you can't tell me not to and over and over and over and won't shut up and over and over and over
Absolutely phenomenal you guys! Always been one of my favorites since I was in high school way back when lol please never stop making music; your music is perfect!!!
i miss the old instrumentals that feel like a journey or the agressiveness in some of old the songs. for this new album there's not a moment in any of the songs i want go back over and over again
I feel you on that sometimes I just need to hear trailer trash. I have to hear custom concern or need to pound my thumbs to the steering wheel to bury me with it .... thats the modest mouse ill always love but ya know sad fact ..age creates change
I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this album! Beautiful work! - From a young Saskatchewanian soul who was too young to view the last concert MM put on in this fun-forsaken wasteland.
Thank you for floating on, as leaves upon the surface of the streams that flow through our own tiny cities made of ashes. And if we open up a window and let the air fall out we may learn to float on as well.
Saw them live last week in okc at the diamond ballroom, 3rd time I’ve seen them and it’s always the best experience, seeing Isaac do parting of the sensory live finally was the best thing to ever happen
Damn, I saw them in August and didnt get that or Ice Cream Party and would have loved both. Had a great setlist, anyway. Cant go wrong with 19 Modest Mouse songs.
Jeremiah Green putting on an absolute clinic in this performance. One of the all-time great drummers of his generation and beyond. godspeed, JG, we love you.
#JeremiahGreen
He was a pervert!!!
Jeremiah went absolutely crazy on this song. Thankful I was able to see him play it. Rest up.
"Our head is a cage and the parrot it won't shut up" *kiss*
Just f'in perfect line. Love this.
The drums in this are so good. We will miss you Jeremiah, you added a lot to our lives. 😢
This band ages like fine wine! That was one of the tightest performances I’ve seen from them. The sound was CLASS
absolutely
The band gains members like aged wine does flavor profiles too lol
@@Budsport_TV seriously a rotating door of members other than Jeremiah

@@Budsport_TV Tom has been with the band since 03 and has some decent falsetto.
They touch a nerve in people rock hasn't in ages.
This is some actual truth right here.
Great song. Reminds me of pre-2004 Modest Mouse.
Right? Long Drive vibes
@WoodsTrekkie Totally, but also like... cleaner? Tighter? Dunno. The layers on this are fantastic.
Funny, it actually reminds me more of songs such as "I've Got It All (Most)" and "One Chance" from the Good News era.
Been lovin this band for 20 fuckin years. Never disappoints.
Jeremiah killing it on the drums, as always!

This song is so good! Probably my favorite on the new record!
This is by far one of my favorite Modest Mouse songs. It is so beautiful when it is played live.
This is on par with the best they've played. Isaac is killing it this tour
For sure, saw them last Friday at Stubbs in Austin and it was the best show of any band I’ve ever seen.
Man he was drunk AF at cincy. Missing whole verses and needing headphones . He would just ramble to the crowd between songs
@@filthydirtstep damn that sucks. He wore headphones in Austin but he was pretty sharp on everything.
The Austin show slayed, but it looks like Nashville was utterly divine. They took it to all kinds of depths and heights and middles and betweens.

It's Modest Mouse season and I'm merry as hell

My heart just grew two sizes while listening to this. Swelling, WELLing, felling over and over and over
Real wonderful live recording of this real wonderful song
Thanks for the quality music. I love you. I'm your fan from Turkey.
I went to the concert for this album recently, it was amazing of course.
When this song pops up I was screaming like a parrot for sure.
I feel like I'm 11 and everything is at peace when I hear modest mouse!
Such a beautiful song; such a great combo of sweet and badass!
Modest Mouse has never lost its musical essence, it makes me love this group. From Brazil.
tamo ai de novo meu bom
🥰
Nailed it.
Didn’t expect to see a Fender Acoustasonic being played in a Modest Mouse video. So, we know that Fender sold at least one.
I think that's probably the same one that Isaac has played a few times on this tour, such as for Spider on the Fly during the Red Rocks encore.
Modest Mouse my favorite band, so far.
Took me twenty years to catch you guys. Meadow brook amphitheater back in august; played your asses off. Thanks!
I was so excited to see Modest Mouse for the first time. I love everything that comes out Issac Brock's imagination.
Good times are killing me vibes. Love it!
Man I love Modest Mouse 🖤

Let it break through, oh let it break through, oh let it break through...
Saw them in Cbus 2021 they played this song and I felt a feeling I have not felt in a LOOOOOOONG time. Thanks guys.
Yeah, that track was amazing there! I kinda had a feeling they could rock this song out live. Great night!
It’s cool to hear Modest Mouse on my local Alt-Rock station not just being played for their classics but on the Top 5 list! Get it boys
Love the new album!
think and dance this song so much
As a decade+ Modest mouse fan. I believe this is one of their great pieces. It reflects their growth and change. As well mine.
Pelle d'oca!!! 🙌🔝🔝😭

So much smile on my face from this.
Anthony Fantano can blow it out his as$! This is phenomenal album. Maybe if he actually listened to it… oh well his loss

This song never fails to make me bawl. Definitely my favorite off the album and easily in my top five favorites of all time.
Thats an underrated drummer if i ever heard one...
Jeremiah really was incredible.
Talent and skills. Modest Mouse is very tight band. One of the best sounding in the entire world.
Волшебная песня, и особенно исполнение❤
To make new arrangements that are unique and still feel familiar… truly talented
A superior version to what is on the album!
what an amazing group of musicians
Finally coming back to my roots. I'm so happy to add new music to my favorite bands Playlist!
Masterpiece
Thanks for the epic show at The Masonic. Great song
I love both of these live versions. They both feel a lot more laid-back.
Especially We Are Between running mostly on acoustic guitar rather than going hard on his electric like usual.
Thank you for being sooooo good Modest Mouse!
Music as art.
This is by far my favorite song on the new album.
Isaac is the best lyricist to ever live.
This song is amazing
This band is awesome. Thank you.
Rock ROCK ON !!!!!
This is so powerful, so beautiful, so immaculate, so Modest!!!
So mouse.
I was obsessed with this band for like 4 or 5 years where it was just like 80 percent Modest Mouse. Good to hear some of their new old shit.
Saw them in Austin a couple days ago, they sound amazing live!
So good
I love this band. 🥲
This song slaps in every iteration I've heard and the road tuning of these songs is making them better ! So lucky to hear this
This was one of my favorite songs they played when I saw them live in august, absolutely started slamming on the chorus
Rest in Peace Jeremiah Green
Thank you for everything you did for me and music altogether
💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚 Forever
Saw them in portland new years eve 2000 .. I had never walked out of a concert before ...
Cheers to the bass player on this one.
i will just listen to this
over and over and over and over and over and over and idgaf and over and over and over and over & over and over

Same. Some songs get a tear outta me. To be 20, 20 years ago again.
Saw them live last Friday and they played this. So good. Opened with cowboy Dan which was amazing
What a great live version of one of my fav songs from their new album!! the band is killing it with this album!!
That guitar rift is inspirational!

Amen to that
Put on a great show like always! Saw you in Minneapolis this time
I saw them in Mankato, MN like 2018
Kudos. Grear track.
Modest mouse you guys mean the world to me. You helped me through all the hard times. Thank you
Beautiful
Favorite off the new one. Saw them live a couple months ago. This blew the house down.
Probably my favorite modest mouse song in about 20 years. They really knocked it out of the park with this tune.
Love u guys been with u for about 20 years thanks for your music

Finally!
That's what I'm talking bout! Great job fellas 👏

Would love to have seen that. They didn't do it in Madison....this one took the house down.
This performance was impeccable. They were also AMAZING live when I saw them a few weeks ago in UT. Really digging the new(ish) line up
The 2021/2022 squad definitely stepped up the performance quality. Wish we could get a female vocal back out there, though.
Wonderful. ❤️
