Gotta do a video showing the Berronio method. I am still trying to find a way to do that and keep my hands free to be able to use poles when I do it that way.
Couple things: Can we talk about that Holster youre running on your pack? Whats up with the ability to attach game bags to the carbon frame portions that extend down the edges of the pack? Is this recommended/ not recocommended or meh? Thanks!
Its a Safariland Holster that is attached to the hipbelt. Yes it is a recommended way of packing out quarters if that fits your style or needs. We call it the Beronio Method because Dave Beronio aka @hollywooddaveo started it.
You will need the pannier load carrier for the demonstration in the video. The Pannier is what holds the weight above your waistline in order to give you maximum comfort!

Highly recommend running quarters on the frame! Puts all of the weight in your center of gravity and makes the load seem lighter.

Can you do this without the carrier?

Dennis and Joe fill any tags yet?
Have to wait and see!
It's a bad design!!. Having to take out the load lifters.....every time you have to take out the bag?
I'm sorry, but that's badly thought out.
