    Maybe this is the newbie in me, but what is the ideal way to pick up a fully loaded K4 pack? Off a table or raised surface is easy, but off the ground, I sometimes worry im over loading an individual component prior to re-mounting the backpack on Me.

    Is the back/lid of the pack waterproof so the game bag doesn’t leak and stain what you have inside the pack?

      There are two layers of fabric between the contents of the bag and meat when loaded on the frame that will keep blood out of the main bag. If the meat is really bloody I have seen it penetrate through the bottom seams and some will get into the main bag. There is really no way to avoid this but it's generally a very minor amount. - Steve

    So the orange bar tacks are indicating those are the two straps made for securing the meat in the shelf, correct?
