I made minuature sketchbooks size of a simple minuature canvas using 3 hard sheets only with 60 pages it's still not finished using fevicol and hard sheets

I don’t like using Sharpies because if you mess up the coloring, then it’s game over, they also bleed through the line art, and depending on what kind of pen you use for the line art, it can cause a lot of smearing. Idk, maybe that’s just me •-•
I "see" more colours than most people I know and when I'm like "this is cerulean, this is blue, this is cobalt, this is indigo and this is teal-" they're like "Bruh, it's just blue"

And whenever you’re actually feeling like a good person one day, and let them use the supplies, they always give it back to you, and they somehow managed to scrape off half of the wood on your paintbrush handle, the bristles look like they tried to give it an afro, the colored pencils are either extremely dull or broken in half, the crayons look like they just survived a tornado, and there’s random paper flakes everywhere (as if they put it through a paper shredder), LIKE, WHAT THE FRICK, YOU BARBARIANS!?!

Artists are defined as someone who creates. That's it. So if you draw, sculpture, make games, etc., no matter the tools or skill level, you are an artist. Period.
Your an artist if you do art, period. Also cheep materials are perfect for working on colour composition! The only thing that makes an artist good, is knowledge of the basics. Composition, colour theory, knowing how to make your subject pop, these are the basics you should practice with :)
Drawing is a form of art. If you draw, you are making art, which does in fact make you an artist. This applies even when using cheap children’s art supplies.
Instead of perfect I usually say: “this is the best thing I have drawn yet!” Because no matter how much you ever draw of how good you are there is an unwritten law that no drawing will ever be perfect to the artist who drew it

The struggle is real. I'm a real hoarder when it comes to art supplies. My husband literally told me, "I hope you're not expecting more art supplies for Christmas. You have literally EVERYTHING!" 🤣
I actually made free art for people all the time a few months ago. hey, i was quarantined, bored, and didn't feel like drawing my characters because i didn't like a single one of them. drawing other people's actually good characters so i'd have something to do with my days was perfect. plus it made them happy. i like making people happy.

i don't really need that new collection of scrapbooking paper :D that paper is so nice - I would use it in the minute I go into home - not even feel guilty about this... :D nooo. I don't smell newly printed paper :P
oh don't get me started on paper XD I loooooove all different kinds of paper with different kinds of textures and I'm collecting them and always imagining what art supplies would be perfect to use with it. But then comes the guilt of not wanting to waste them, because I am not drawing/painting as perfect as possible and so I end up not using it. And then the paper gets old or discolored and I regret it even more XD getting in my head, that everyone has to practice and has to start at some point, is a challenge^^" So, I wish you best of luck and don't feel guilty, you can always buy more paper and If you don't use it, it goes to waste anyways, so why not give it the chance to become the awesome artwork you imagine it to be :)
