I honestly LOVE phentermine. I'm a very low energy and sleepy person, so imsomnia is not a problem AT ALL. If I'm taking phentermine I even take a nap during the day because I feel a bit sleepy. Phentermine makes me feel so much more motivated to do things, my energy levels are great! But, when I started taking it I had to drink around 4 litters of water per day. Now I don't feel that thirsty when I take it, but I still try to hydrate a lot because I know that this drug dehydrates me a lot.
I, too, have been low energy my entire life. Nothing I do changes that. Phentermine gives me a boost and even if I take later in the day I have no issue falling asleep. If you see this I hope you dont mind me asking if there are things you have tried to combat your low energy? I have finally excepted it and dont beat myself up about it anymore.
How long does it take for Phentermine to start working? This will be the first time taking it. I’m waiting on CVS to get it in. Does it give you energy? Thanks for your info.

Phentermine was an incredible appetite suppressant. If you feel like your appetite is out of control and you can’t stop binging, this one’s for you. For me the dry mouth was bothersome at first but it improved over a few weeks. The most severe side effect for me was a drastic reduction in my libido. As a person who is used to being sexually active every day, this side effect took me time to get used to. Overall it’s been a game changer for me and helped me get my diet back in my control!
Yes, when you drop your carbs too low (20 net grams) or less, you start losing electrolytes. Because you are ridding your body of water weight. So, you need to take an electrolyte supplement or drink to replenish those. Low potassium causes heart palpitations. I drink lmnt electrolyte drink, I only eat about 7 carbs a day.

Been on Phentermine for 40 days now, and I like it. It helps you achieve a sense of fullness sooner when eating a meal, and it causes me to lose interest in pleasure foods. I have experienced the GI issues, occasional headaches, and mouth dryness. However, combined with a better diet, eliminating alcohol, and exercising every week, I have been able to drop 10 lbs. Thank you for this video, I’ve been looking for info on SSRI and phentermine interactions for serotonin syndrome. Could you explain what serotonin syndrome is, when you should become concerned of the symptoms of this?
The first signs I got of serotonin storm was my temperature rocketing, I was lucky to survive. Don't do anything that risks the syndrome as once it starts it's more luck than medicine that dictates your chances of survival. If there's a risk of it, it's not worth it.
I had hyperthyroid and it's gone now I was on Levothyroxine but I got off it on my own. I'm taking iodine and selenium and my thyroid is normal now. I'm back starting Phentermine this week but I'm taking half of the pill!
It's not "similar" to amphetamines, it *is* a methamphetamine, just with a methyl group on the alpha carbon. It's often a contaminant in methamphetamine from some illicit synthesis methods.
If anyone that has taken this and since stopped, 1. was your weight loss sustainable after stopping the phentermine or did it come back? 2. Did your appetite come back as it was before taking phentermine or did it your appetite slow down even after? 3. How do you feel energy wise/any symptoms once you stopped taking phentermine? Thank you so much to anyone who decides to answer these questions
I’m looking at it as a way of training me how much and when to eat when I get off of it. After all, the pill isn’t making me lose weight. It’s portions and smart eating. And of course some exercise (Walking)
I took it about 15yrs ago for about 2-3 months. I lost 30lbs and kept it off for about 7yrs. Then I changed up and started eating crazy again and pack on 60lbs. Fast forward 2yrs I got a personal trainer and started keto and lost 30lbs. Now 3-4yrs later still maintaining that weight but want the last 30 gone so I returned to phentermine this past December and have lost 14lbs with 16 to go. I still kinda eat in a keto manner and intermittent fast 5x a week. Oh and I felt ok when I stopped, I was a gym rat. I still exercise now but haven’t been as consistent since last year (house fire) threw off my whole routine. But I’m happy with my current progress. Slow and steady.
Greetings from Australia. Thank you for your information dear Doctor. I've recently put on a lot of weight and my GP here in Australia have prescribed me Phentermine 30 mg. Upon reading the health info pamphlet I was shocked to read that it got both low & high side effects. What concerns me is the Higher risks of side effects like heart attacks that's been clearly stated there. Upon further investigation I learnt that it's banned in the US and here in Australia. But it is only accessible on prescription and under legal & safe authorization sold in pharmacies. I'm 81 kgs and 5 feet 1 inches and suffer from high cholesterol, obesity and also on thyroid meds as I suffer from inactive thyroid. Plus I got acute anxiety & depression and liver problems. Upon suffering from all these ailments still Im in shock that my doctor prescribed me this medication. I wasn't overweight 3 yrs ago. In 2020 I was 12 kgs in weight. Can you please advise Doctor I don't want to suffer from hear palpitations or heart attack😭😥
I'm sorry to hear you are going through all that. Typically, your doctor will do a risk benefit analysis and determine whether the medication is worth prescribing. I'm thus assuming that your doctor has taken all your risk factors into consideration. I think you need to be frank with your doctor and discuss your fears and see what he thinks. One thing that caught my eye though is the fact that you mentioned you are on thyroid medication. I'm not sure if you see and endocrinologist or how the system works in Australia. I bring it up because, hormonal imbalances, include thyroid hormones, may contribute to weight gain. A good starting point will be to ensure that any such contributing factor to your weight gain is taken care off. Speaking to an endocrinologist to ensure your thyroid meds and doses etc are adequate will not be a bad idea. Wish you all the best.

I had a friend who used this. And 3 years after she stopped it, she had hard problems. I just recently was watching a woman on RUclips. Who claimed that she has heart problems and had gold ladder problems period you have to understand when you take these things that control your hunger. It causes a great deal of problems with in your system. That's one area they cannot seem to help human beings with without causing outside effects that could cost you your life period my girlfriend is overweight and she's so terribly unhappy she has ABM I of thirty, she's borderline diabetic and they still won't give her any of the new shots to take to lose weight and none of the insurance companies will pay for it, though wait another 10 or 15 years of people dying and getting sick, trying anything to lose weight when they know. Now it's a disease it's not what they eat period I eat 10 times more than she does and she gains weight and I don't.
I had no idea they’d even prescribe it for that long period of time! My dr prescribed me only a month as she mentioned this should be an initial crutch and not a long term solution. I have about 80 lbs overweight so maybe it depends on that? Either way hope your friend is doing better!
My doctor just prescribed this for me I'll be starting with 15 mg. I generally don't like taking medications I'm not on any at all. I want to try this but I do take zoloft....and feed back?
Phentermine gave me really bad insomnia amd constipation and heartburn. I stopped taking it after three days and suddenly felt super fatigued.
Same here
I’ve been on it a week and have yet to have insomnia. I can’t still take naps during the days. Only think i experience is a nauseating feeling where it feels like I’m hungry and nauseous at the same time. Some brain fog/ confusion/ and a bit of anger but it usually happens at the end of the day. I’m on 15mg

@@HealthRX what about ED I heard someone ask about it does it affect that
Do all prescribed weight loss pills side effects have issues with heart problems and blood pressure concerns? I might as well take GOLO instead😢
It is an amphetamine of some sort so yeah. Best and healthiest way to lose weight is calorie deficit, just got to keep determination
I was the 1000 like 👍 🎉 great video
Haha! Awesome! Thanks for watching and glad you liked it.
What about hair loss as a side effect??? Been taking it on and off for 2 months have seen a difference weight wise but I’m loosing lots of hair? Could it be a the pill or the rapid wight loss?
Are you getting your nutrients and supplements in? You may not be eating enough and getting your nutrition
I lost a lot of hair too
Great video!
Hi thanks for sharing good info dear doctor.
May I ask you about duromine’s side effect on libido.
I just started using it, and then I’ve got kinda ED. Didn’t completely stop sexual function at moment. But I’m just wondering is it able to regain the function after stopping use it?
I would really appreciate it if you could respond to the question.
Did you found out something about it? Kindly share

I get upper back pain from this medicine but it works for dropping the pounds just annoying back pain at night
On it and this is the second day, very very trying!! Nausea, headache, dizzness, insomnia --- i cant sleep. Hope these side effects will go away cause i cannot exercise in this state,
It can cause sores on your head, doped up feelings, severe constipation, and doesn’t work after about three months. I lost 20 pounds and then got stuck at that weight. 15 mgs.
I hope to lose 30 pounds but I would certainly be happy to lose 20 pounds!
fantastic video. doc just prescribed this for me 37.5 phentermine. does this interact badly with marijuana (1-2 joint a weekend)? Very new to this. Hoping this works. i will do 4 weeks on, 1 week off and repeat.
How is it working for you I just got subscribed today start taking them tomorrow a bit nervous because of the side affects people are saying they getting
@@michaelhuerta6705 not to good. Gave up after 2 weeks. Between the severe dry mouth, problems peeing, and panic attacks (which are new) its not worth it
I was about to say if you take Marihuana for the calming effects then Phentermine is not for you since It's a stimulant.
Great info
Please I'm in Nigeria, where can I get it
Thank you good information

I took it younger n I lost a lot of weight
thank you love your channel. please a video on Qsymia :0
Any male perspective, I’m 28 thinking about getting on it , I’m sitting at 274, with a 22 BMI but it’s like I’m hungry all the damn time, and never full
Your the same weight as me. I got prescribed to take it 3 days ago. I am 5’11 and I’m 277lbs. So far I been motivated to workout and do my cardio extremely well. I work night shifts so it works well with my daily schedule. So far I’m down to 272 pounds.
It definitely helps with the cravings. Im a Male and was 15 pounds overweight. This med definitely help you make better food choices and eat less especially bad carbs. I took it for a month and lost 10 pounds. Also gave me more energy to work out and to get stuff done. I recommended it. I stopped taking it because since I got it from a weight clinic it was over 200 dollars a month. At first my mouth was dry and drank lots of water but drinking water is good. I also felt less depress.
Very informative! Thank you for this information!
Had Apena for 5 years , I sleep 6 or 4 hours and wake up like new, I used to go pee like 7 or 9 times at night, choke,etc........... so no , aint getting of , of it. 100 pounds and going. I look 10 years younger and got my life back. ( I also follow Eric Berg)
Lomaira is also phentermine, 8mg flexible dosing.
is phentermine the same as FAstin and fastin xr
does this interfere with epilepsy?
Does phentermine cause dizziness?
Ha I was the 100th like !! Good video my friend
Haha! Nice. I appreciate the support.
@@HealthRX welcome!!
My experience Phentermine at the beginning try it for 2 months work exelent I stop it for months
Then I try it again after that I develop urine tract irritación blood in urine and pain in genitals I went to doctor stop it
He treated as a UTI it works, then I take the med and it happens again I stop it for a year I decide to give it a chance and it happens again twice so definitely I’m allergic -Sensitive to this medication
Similarly, I experience extreme itching on my back legs when I take it.
I took phentermine in 2020 and take break the again 2021 and take break I started this morning the third time so in past the only side effects was insomnia and I took magnesium and b12 b6 and biotin and was fine drink alot of water when in phentermine no soda no vitamin c no alcohol no citrus exercise regular you will see good results 🙂 and also no caffeine no caffeine it's the worst
Great advice on the no caffeine. Thanks for sharing.
Why no vitamin C? I haven't found any interactions listed for vitamin C?
My endocrinologist prescribed me phentermine and a Vitamin C supplement.
Why no vit c or citrus?
Why no vit c or citrus?
Geesh
.my pcp just prescribed this today. But i have mild mitral valve prolapse and controlled with medicine, water/blood pressure pill. Whyyyy would he give me this particular one to help my weight😮
If you have any heart conditions I wouldnt take it. It's an stimulant. I had an ekg done and since I have no medical condition I got it prescribed. But they usually dont recommend it for patients with heart conditions.
I still eat aaaalot. Dont feel the appetite suppressant. Its been two weeks at 37mg, does it take longer to take affect?
Your physiology may not react well with it. Talk to your doc; they can try something else
The whole rapid heart rate scares me. I have the pills but don’t want to start. Can you break these in half’s and try that way?
Im in the same spot
I started the medication four days ago. My appetite has decreased, however I’m having extremely dry mouth and just feel different in a sense and experienced sleepless nights for the last two nights, even though I take it early mornings. I believe that I have too high dosage, which is 37.5mg. I don’t think I’m going to continue taking it. Any suggestions!
If it’s the pill, trying taking a half by splitting it. So it’s half the dosage.
Thanks for your video kwaku 🇬🇭

Thank you for this video, I’ve been looking for info on SSRI and phentermine interactions for serotonin syndrome. Could you explain what serotonin syndrome is, when you should become concerned of the symptoms of this?
The first signs I got of serotonin storm was my temperature rocketing, I was lucky to survive. Don't do anything that risks the syndrome as once it starts it's more luck than medicine that dictates your chances of survival.
If there's a risk of it, it's not worth it.
Now I’m afraid to take this!
I fall a sleep, it makes me very sleepy for around 5-6 hrs before it kicks in 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you!!!+❤
My pleasure!
I know some physicians no longer prescribe.. more are prescribing ozempic victoza and other anti diabetic drugs
Yes. That’s my observation too. Truth is, all those you listed, generally give better results for the most part, for a greater percentage of people.
Most insurances won't pay for it if not written for Diabetes.
@@bostonlatina Give it a year or two and they will. Lots of money to be made by the pharmaceutical companies.
@Angela Colon I'm pre-diabetic and I can't get it. It's not covered. I'm with marketplace

I found 30 mg too high. Can i take it every second day
Can you not take pre workout?

Amazon pharmacy is way less expensive for this drug if you have Prime.
Good to know. Thanks for the tip.
@HealthRX been taking it for 2 weeks..making it hard for my to urine. Like I have to force it
I took first day I took phentermine 37:5 I feel body shake and palpitation . I have thyroid and bp should I continue this medicine or stop
I would break that in 1/2 and start with that, that’s what I’m doing.
@@maryv2711I agree I only take half a day.
I had hyperthyroid and it's gone now I was on Levothyroxine but I got off it on my own. I'm taking iodine and selenium and my thyroid is normal now. I'm back starting Phentermine this week but I'm taking half of the pill!
Any night nurses who take this? I AM HYPERTENSIVE and my doctor said it is ok to take it
Do not take caffeine with this
why? just wondering
@@devinotruthI'd assume it has something to do with the increased heartbeat and insomnia

Thank you. I’d love to hear everything you say as it’s very very valuable.
It's not "similar" to amphetamines, it *is* a methamphetamine, just with a methyl group on the alpha carbon. It's often a contaminant in methamphetamine from some illicit synthesis methods.
If anyone that has taken this and since stopped,
1. was your weight loss sustainable after stopping the phentermine or did it come back?
2. Did your appetite come back as it was before taking phentermine or did it your appetite slow down even after?
3. How do you feel energy wise/any symptoms once you stopped taking phentermine?
Thank you so much to anyone who decides to answer these questions
1. yes but takes a lot of mental strength
2. it was slow at first but does come completely back
3. about the same just more sluggish.
Thanks for sharing your experience. It is very valuable.
@maryv2711 excellent advice! Great perspective to have. Thank yiu for sharing 😊
I’ve been on amphetamines before I’m not the type to to get addicted
@@HealthRX thank you so much for taking your precious time out to write to me. Im on optifast now

Years ago I had an adrenal gland removed that result blood pressure issues. I see an endocrinologist every year, I'm borderline with any thyroid concerns. Here are my recent test...
