    In my old 2500sq ft house, the only vent my attic has - is one little 'whirligig' on the roof.
    With this type unit, could i maybe point the duct and fan up towards that one spinning vent? I'm thinking this fan just might cause that vent to spin much faster and allow the heat to go out that way. What do ya think?
    Thank you

    • @NumberDZ

      You would need another vent to be safe because that one vent may be too small.

    Back in the day this was called an attic fan. They were like 3-4’ in diameter and that sucker could pull some air through a house. Easiest way is get a couple of box fans and put them in an open window and block off the rest of opening and open up other windows. Might not get as much air flow but it works and a fraction of the cost.

    • @foodie5214
      @foodie5214 5 месяцев назад

      During times where you would use the fan, the temp in your house is likely more desirable than the temp in your attic. You put air from your house into the attic, pushing air through the attic. Attics are vented so the air will flow.

    • @NumberDZ
      @NumberDZ  5 месяцев назад

      The attics have vents, all the extra air creates positive pressure in the attic and the air gets pushed out thought he vents.
