- In this Boss Guide, I show you all of the abilities and attacks of the Skeleton Warlord hell boss and how to defeat it. This is one of the more difficult bosses found in Inferno and is often seen as on the of true end game bosses as it drops a number of unique artifact weapons.

Truly on the of true end game bosses of all time
I have a suggestion for the melee attacks sequence. I would really love to see them all play out at the same time side by side. That way it's more easy to distinguish the one's that are somewhat similar. Particularly I would love to see cw horsintal swing next to cw diagonal swing and rotating downward chop next ccw diagonal swing. I don't know if this would be possible or if you even would be bothered to do it. Just a suggestion. However good guide :)

Important note! In HR, the size of the AOE that appears when blocking or parrying an attack is reduced with the amount of Skeleton Royal Guards killed.

I was able to kill it, but man I just can’t do it solo on my rogue, just killing the minions in base kit rogue is so hard.

i dint know they where gona do specific drops for uniques guess i have to learn all the boss instead of ghost king
one more thing, blocking the fan of knives doesnt trigger the explosion, so you can safely block and maybe riposte it with lantern shield

Where or how did you get the footage of the attacks at 4:20 ? I want to study how to read the moves and comparing them side by side would be really helpful. Also seeing them in real time would be nice.
Also the video is immensely helpful as it is, so thank you. I'm just having trouble reading every attack during the fight, and it takes like 15+ minutes just for a 33% chance to fight the boss again to practise.
How can you say his attacks are super simple?
He does like 7 attacks most of which start with him doing a spin, and you have to read in real time (not slo-mo like your renders) what kind of attack it will turn into and then transfer it into the correct dodge to avoid it, all within fractions of a second. Misjudge even slightly and he will whack you, hard.
From a newer players perspective, I have seen this boss once in game, and we immediately fled upon seeing he summons 20 skeletons, but that is a different story.
So this being one boss, that I get to try when I am on one map out of three playable maps, when I spawn somewhat close to him so I can even reach him, it will take ages to learn his patterns.
Well boys, I have officially solo'd both the Normal and HR version of this boss, gg warlord

Hmm when i am doing warlord he is moving much faster. But i don't kill any minion. They give him action speed?
Yeah the non-killed minions buff him when he blows them up. (bigger sword, more damage atleast. Not sure about action speed)
So you can't hurt the boss in phase 1, and you don't have to kill the minions, so how do you get to phase 2? Is it after a certain amount of time?
He repeats the Cone - Teleport - Knife sequence twice and then blows up the minions, so just time.
hey, ive been trying to solo warlord and everything is pretty much easy, except the horizontal attack, ive tried being close and being further, but it always hits my back, what am i doing wrong, i just try crouch ducking and moving to his left but it never works
crouch, looking down, and then moving to the left is correct - do you have a clip I could look at? The attack comes out quite fast so depending on your location/connection to the server it could be just incorrectly reading you as still standing or looking up

some kid died in my game with like a 20k set i went to loot him when the warlord was doing the explosion i had no idea about and ended up loosing 550 ap...

hi guys, this is my first time playing since beta dnd LMAO and im curious cuz i dont see the exits and there's no zone? or am i just stupid?
there have been some changes to the general map mechanics ruclips.net/video/ld9taLTDRxU/видео.html . There are now static spawn points on all maps that open up later in the match. They will all be indicated on the mini map as some sort of blue icon.

the loot on warlord should be better than the other bosses, its so much riskier to kill than lich/gk to a point where its not worth it to most players

How does MMO boss design like this make any sense in a game where you die in 2 hits and lose everything?
People learn those mobs by trying many times. I learned cyclop and lich without any guide.

Im at day 2 of learning cave troll as a barb, it's miserable... i think boss fights in this game are poorly designed, i get that they need to be hp sponges capable of oneshotting you, but i feel they could at least be fun, like for example why does the arena have to be a plain circle/square? This forces just one strategy on you, wich is to just memorize a pattern and repeat the same actions over and over, that's the definition of boring
do it with bardiche, dont have any -movespeed items on you and hitting the boss 2 times every time hes doing a attack (right side)
