Definitely nice to see another offering come to the market, but maybe too little too late? Time will tell if it’ll compete with other SAO pistols in the market.
I just bought my 92XI tonight so haven’t shot it. As some reviewers have said, the trigger is subpar. I looked at 2 guns, and they both have a distinct crunch right before you get to the wall. After that it is smooth, but I expected better. The single action pull on my M9A3 is much better - so why is the SAO trigger worse? I bought it anyway, hoping it will break in and be better. I love everything else about the gun.
I have the 92x compact and I love it BUT….. if I could get it with the ability to safely carry cocked and locked like this for around $750 that would be amazing. I have a feeling I’m going to have to wait a couple years for the price to come down bc I’m not spending a G for the 92xi. That said, Beretta, keep up the good work. Keep paying attention to the market and customer demands. But work on your pricing. Y’all are asking a bit much imo.
It's coming factory ready with the X-treme S trigger group and the base model will likely retail for $850 or so. Considering how much SIG is asking for the SAO Legion, that's a reasonable price.
