I see a lot of other reactors get mad at him, but it’s important to remember that he signed up to kill titans, not humans, and was thrown into a kill-or-be-killed situation out of nowhere. He’s never done it before. And he’s only 15. I do like the fact that he hesitated, because so many other action shows have characters killing people right and left with no second thought. I appreciate both Jean and Armin’s roles in giving weight to killing. It’s not a spectacle, it’s a life you’re taking.
That's wild to me that people frown on him for being a literal child. He's gone from killing Titans to now being told he has to kill humans despite swearing to protect them. It's a huge shift. Part of what I love about Isayama is how realistic his writing is. It doesn't feel far-fetched. He's showing the reality of what political turmoil has upon a younger generation and by extension the trauma of war. These are kids who are trying to survive in a world against a threat they aren't sure about. Mikasa comforting Armin too shows just how heavy that burden is. She has experience killing people but they don't and we have to remember that. Also Jean is my baby so if anyone dislikes him I'm throwing hands!

Also, the other 2 instances that the guy said will be expanded (although, as I said, won't be explicitly brought back), so keep them in mind. A lot of stuff happened this episode! This season is pretty dense. That sequence with Levi allegedly took 2 months to animate. Absolutely STELLAR. Congrats on the deduction, it's all coming together... Can't wait to see when the other reveals are in fact revealed!

It's always interesting for me to watch someone who is so into predicting things in shows and being so proud of it. I'm the complete opposite, lol. Like small stuff, sure, whatever. It's almost impossible not to see the direction a show is going at times. But you're going like, full detective mode trying to figure everything out, haha. For me, if there's a little idea that pops up in my head like, "Oh no, this person's gonna die.", and it stays in my mind and eventually happens in the show.. it kind of takes away from the moment for me because it's no longer a shocking surprise. I guess I like to keep myself as ignorant as possible so everything is a surprise. Has predicting future outcomes ever taken away from a show or movie for you? Genuine question. P.S. - I think this is the first time I've commented. Really enjoy your reactions. 😄
It doesn't take away from the story for me because I'm just very analytical in general. I like to figure things out and get to the bottom of what a story has to say and the themes it's demonstrating! :) Even theorising I am never sure if I am right until the moment it's revealed so it's still a surprise nonetheless! It's part of why I went and got 3 degrees in Literature because it's something I genuinely find interesting like deciphering the text for hidden meaning, the themes and symbolism, but also looking for patterns that can help to theorise what is going to happen. Pattern recognition is probably one of the reasons why I am so predictive at times because I've seen similar traits in other stories that it rings a bell haha!
Just in case you actually didn't finished/filmed the reaction of the entire Part 1 of Season 3. You need to react to the episode 12 entirelly, including the ending. Believe me, you won't regret it. Don't know if you're actually watching openings and endings(You don't put that on your reaction) but just in case you're not doing it, do it for the episode 12 please. Very interesting seeing this all unfold again, as there were plenty of things especially in this season that I forgot about or otherwise overlooked in my first time watching the series, so I'm genuinely not sure about how it unfolds or why some things happen the way they are this season, leaving me with a similar confusion about some things (ie the Reiss situation) as you lol

Those would literally be like bullets. I love the inclusion of the ODM gear being used in other ways. Even the Anti-Personnel modified gear Kenny and his team use. It's modified ODM gear.

In a flashback before Eren was "eaten," Armin mentioned that his parents planned to venture outside the walls, but as we know, they never returned. He actually insisted that he wanted to make this Levi sequence with ODM gear inside the town longer. He's only second to the legendary Yutaka Nakamura (Frieren EP6, Mob Psycho 100, Cowboy Bebop, etc.) These two geniuses worked together in the first season of One Punch Man.
First bomb, Kenny raised Levi, second bomb they want to eat Eren, third bomb Levi is an Ackermann and he is related to Mikasa Ackermann. If you think you've seen everything, wait for the next chapters, Kenny still has more bombs to reveal, such as who Kenny is, Levi's past and the origin of the Ackermanns.

Just because I know you're watching ahead--you may want to consider reacting to the blue ray version of season 4! A different animation studio took over from then on, and they, unfortunately, are known for overworking their workers with extremely tight deadlines. Don't get me wrong, most of the animation is fantastic, but there are definitely some moments where you can tell they ran out of time. The blue ray shows the animation at what it should be, and would not only give you a better experience, would make you one of if not the only react channel to show blue ray, and you'd be supporting the animators more directly.
I don't have a disc drive on my PC so not sure how I can watch it in Blu-Ray as it doesn't seem to be an option to buy an online version :') I'd love to do it but it may not be an option for me.
Girl I love your reactions! Im politically more centrist, but the one thing I love about AoT is that it goes in on the shortcomings of every political “ideology” at some point. I love seeing people’s differing perspectives converging upon this series and the fact that so many people with differing opinions love this show shows me how great a series this is - plus, Isayama started writing this in his late teens/early twenties!!!! There’s sth so raw about it which seems to tell the story of every human and the characters all seem so real. Personally I relate to Levi and Eren more than anyone and I can’t wait to see your future reactions to their journeys!

There’s sth so raw about it which seems to tell the story of every human and the characters all seem so real. Personally I relate to Levi and Eren more than anyone and I can’t wait to see your future reactions to their journeys!
