Oil sump upar hone ka benefits
1. Engine lowered for better CG
2.oil cools faster
Mera BSA B31 350 1952 motorcycle main hain .
Although Indian roads dont need very low center of gravity, since lower gravity tends to make moveability little more heavy. and you need agility to manuever in India. Ex - Cruise bikes /choppers are not that famous in india. Also if oil cools faster when - sump is over enigine is true then why does Interceptor with double piston has lesser size of radiator?
Single cylider is making the bike lighter, also extra lighter due to one exhaust less etc thats why pickup and low end torque is high.
"Heat from engine" is such a lame excuse- When there is exhaust and air cooling involved, when you halt/slow down - obviously the heat from engine will rise against gravity. Its called "part of the job". Like a Traffic Police cant complaint about vehicle noise. He already knew that it will happen when he applied for it. Every 250+ bike will heat. This one stupid reason is the main thing people keep repeating. people imagine, they are on an oven that too in indian summer. bhai comeon - biker ho tum . then there is one more kind who think corenering - tum 4 video dekh k apne bike se khicdi expect mat kar rahe ho, ki aloo bhi hoga, dhaniya bhi ho, heeng bhi ho.. khicdi is for less enthusiasts. Get a good tyre, obviously company is telling you, but you ignore - Interceptor is the most modifiable of the lot. Even himalyan is 2nd , if you realy want to corner then little modification is needed. Be practical.
First thing first, if you cant lift your motorbike's back wheel with two hands holding the back rest then you need to get fit. dont blame the bike. every fast moving object when you ride, it needs a lean mean machine on its back to control it. No one is expecting you to know everything about bikes niether a bike is all rounder, use the best combo and you are a true biker!
I have company of Nanideshwar Maharaj - Interceptor 650, and we have seen Shiva temples accross length and breadth of India, together.
wow sir
but urs has centre stand
I know it's an unpopular opinion but i think goldstar is a really good bike specially for our Indian conditions and it looks so good ❤
Its not an unpopular opinion. Only RE fanboys will argue against this.
tubed wheels & no Centrr stand ? are those good for Indian conditions ?
I m riding dominar 400 April 2017 made bought in June 2017. Rode it 69k till now. For last 1 year I m waiting for upgrade, test ride 650 RE's nd waiting for classic 650. I will test ride this as soon as same gets available here.

Long ride review and full satisfied an buy is bike bsa goldstar 650 ❤.
Only one issue, tubed tires! One puncture and you will be wishing you had tubeless!
Only problem with these kind of bikes from any brand will be the tube tyres !
We must have a permanent solution between spokes wheels vs options to choose vintage alloy wheels with better look.
Tyres are actually tubeless capable but BSA provided a tube with it.
@@gigachad3685 Exactly, still we have tubes ! and this is not suitable for all sort of rides as quick fix for any puncher is difficult.
As per my knowledge, now we have plenty of options to suit retro style with alloy wheels which should be optionally made available for upcoming bikes.
There are many people like me how love retro bikes but, cannot buy due to the difficulties with tube tires. This is not only for BSA but for any retro looking bike.
I think JAWA bikes offer much better road clearance these days. BSA (or any company) should considering offer bikes with different versions offerings with higher road clearance and shorter once with lower road clearance.
@@yesraghuyes install jawa bobber alloy wheels.... Same form factor. Problem solved..
@@ReignitedDrifter Additional expense - may not cover standard warranty ! Anyways what about road clearance that's less than most of 350 CC bikes ! !
@@yesraghuyes yes it does cover in standard warranty 2 years.... Recently they changed my both suspension and silencer because of recall.. And they gave extra warranty on that 😂... Btw ground clearance 150mm shouldn't be a problem.. Look at meotor 650 it has 135mm ground clearance.. No issue in indian road.. Same goes for hunter 350 ..150mm..
Earlier jawa yezdi bike used to have worst preload.. Now they have sorted that issue.. Hence no more ground clearance issue
why there are very few bike reviewers in india that can make good knowldgeable review most of guys like this be like oh wow wow wow what a bike !
Teen gen-Z need that excitement and highs for them to watch it. Example bikewithgirl will only be more of excitement and less of info. Just plane subtle is kool and easy.
The best thing about this bike is its performance - the worst thing is lack of gizmos : gear indicator, slipper clutch, switchable abs , fuel range indicator etc .
Experienced and old school bikers will find this bike thrilling and will cruise the roads like sleepers waiting to be triggered by some high revving youths on their plastics and twins.
The bike is a class in itself .
❤
The lack of gizmos is the USP for an authentic retro classic .
@@rajb5595 yeah, but the pricing could have been atleast 20k less at ex showroom.
You know its a classic British brand and there is another British brand selling in the same mid segment with a bit lower single but with bit more gizmos.
We have a price conscious market here - people could have found the this bike in the Triumph, Husqvarna range easily.
@@theheretic6739 I would leave that decision to the manufacturing company in its interest of acquiring volume sales. But I am getting one anyway 😃 for its sole sense of being nearest to its British made predecessor in terms of authenticity
Yes you right, but it comes it slipper assistance clutch.@@rajb5595
The Shadow Black looks best of all the colours. In the UK we love that it has incandescent lamps, where in India your all worries that it doesn’t have LED’s. The lamps match its classic style, a warm glow from the headlight that matches that old English feel. I feel LED’s would ruin the feel.

Some people are comparing ex-showroom price of BSA with on-road price of Inty and that is causing the confusion.
The vintage bike console is just beauty wish it had led lights.
You said price difference of 70-80k between BSA and INT......? How?? BSA starts at 2.99 lacs snd INT at 3.03 lacs ex showroom........

Thank you brother for doing this review and sharing your experience.
I did not like the rear seating arrangement and also miss the dual silencer set up which would have made it look much better & aggressive. Indicator design looks after market.
Fuel tank at least should have been 16 to 17 ltr, when Mahindra gave Mojo a tank of 21 ltrs..wonder why they are giving smaller tank on every bike.
Lack of planning by the designer to attach a front visor as the indicator assembly is on the front head light console so putting up a front visor will be tricky..that indicator assembly should have been placed on the tank or slightly off set or in between the two pods like some watch. Otherwise the bike looks cool.. how was the road presence and reaction.....you missed on that...😉😉 but its ok..
Once again thanks for doing this review...
Anyday i wont buy this motorcycles. We have alots of options for this price range😂
I love the analog instrument cluster..
There is no option to fix center stand on it BSA won't sell it as accessory, this has been in international market since 2022 and no center stand is sold by bsa as some vital sensors are there making it difficult for the centre stand.
So far only tecbike has made an aftermarket stand and only a handful were sold some 5 or 6 only. Someone looking to get this should be ready to live with tube tyres and no center stand.
this bike has amazed me so much
Good review thank you Prakash ji.
Guys when you spend so much always ask the spare part prices and always go for tubeless tyres and alloys as for long rides and for remote areas all your swag will go down at once...

Anyday RE interceptor 650 . Momentum of twin cylinder is always unmatched when it comes to single cylinder.
Don't know what you mean by momentum.
Do you mean the bike does not slow down much after leaving the throttle? that can mean good and bad. It could also mean the bike takes longer time to stop.
We all have grown up with single cylinders. I remember my Pulsar 150 and how grunty and thumpy the engine sounded.
It is just preference
@@anirudhhhh even I had a Pulsar 180 black cat as my 1st bike back 2005. Momentum means a bike with multiple cylinders mostly twin let's say parallel or v as capable enough to maintain the torque delivery in any gear without jerking or knocking. These types of situations sit mostly when you're in a hilly area or traffic infested situation.

Single cylinder twin cylinder..no comparison bhai
Twin cylinder- twice expensive when engine goes for maintenance. Single cylinder more thump when compared to twin.
@@nighthawk4028😂😂 logic
Both have their distinct characters! Singles produce a little more low end torque and power is low down, twins have a little bit more top end! But yeah singles tend to vibrate at higher RPMs.

Hello , as of now there are no accessories for tubeless tyres sir
@@BikerPrakashChoudhary Thanks
Thank god they went with stiff suspension, din make the mistakes with 650 twins with horrendous suspension
Whats with stiff suspension??
Buddy RE has stiffer suspension thats why its hard, and for heavy bikes they provide stiffer suspension for stability, so correct your facts
@@gigachad3685 well stiff suspension compromises on ride quality but keeps the bike composed and better handling. Would pick that over ride quality.
I have an interceptor and the smallest undulations unsettled the bike, it's just very very cheap suspension by RE especially the front.
@@hitzparmar1986 yeah sure my interceptor has hard suspension that's why it bottoms out like a freaking trampoline all over the road.
I removed the stock rear suspension and I installed a pair of Girling shrouded shock absorbers at £155.00, they look much bettrer than the stock items with their exposed springs and are in keeping with the vintage style of the Gold Star. The stock shocks from the BSA are now installed on a friends 1980 Benelli 900 Sei.
This bike is reliable?
Hows the suspension in this , is it plush enough on bad roads?

Nyce looking bike yr what h retro clasic baike and fit and fininshing …but its must have tubless tyr
Everything is good but bike sound is not good at all. Might be because of the mike you would be using. Re twins sound great because of the twin cylinders.

12 ltrs of fuel capicity on a 650cc bike is not a cup of tea for everyone...
My Gold Star 650 returns 70.6 mpg, that equates to a tank range of 186 miles, more than enough for most situations.

Looks very similar to Jawa 42
have you ever seen an Interceptor 650 in real life?, what a stupid review. The interceptor will leave thi bloody fat bufallo in the dust in a performance check. Do not comment about bikes you have not even seen in your real life, we all know what classic legends is capable of and what they did to the Yezdi brand, they royally screwed the brand. keep in mind only the brand is BSA and this bike is from the stable of Mahindra that has continually churned out poor bikes just trying to cash in on the brand names like Yezdi, Jawa, BSA etc. Classic legends does not have the capacity to match any of royal enfield bikes
Perfectly said bro
Not really...RE bikes are nothing but money guzzling fat pigs with chapri riders following due to constant paid media PR stunts. Let me tell you how.. i have seen RE 350 classic, hunter and RE Himalayan chassis giving away on hardcore tours, besides electrical and handle wobbling issues especially in RE Interceptor and worst of all rider dying when RE engine blasted. There are also number of flop bikes from RE. RE tried a lot and after a series of flop when they hired the California designing team then only we have the products like Himalayan and Interceptor..Mahindra on the other hand is not engaged in the bike segment when its truck, tractor and passenger car segment is doing so well...as it should be because it also owns Pininfarina design company (those who designed Ferrari), Peugeot two wheelers and SYM of Taiwan... its only time when Mahindra tells them to design their bikes for the Indian market..when Mahindra finally decides to take on all 2 wheeler companieshead-on..then we can see who build and design better bikes. One should not jump to conclusion....
Bhai bhai, check my comments on yezdi jawa official channel, i have yezdi scrambler and it has rust issues and issues with spare parts availability.
I am not satisfied with mettalurgy of bike and the company's management.
Their 350-300 engine was derieved from mahindra mojo
But this 650 engine is made by ROTAX named company which used to make this engine for 90s bmw 650cc bike which was mile muncher, it was made with 5gears and still has same.
Should have been developed more but this engine is globally proven one.
The pricing will only be issue but this company will understand pricing issue and reduce its price to survive.
They can only sell it till the time Classic/Bullet 650 are not out, by the time RE launches it, BSA is lost in the woods!! 💀

Well i dont know when i will be leaning towards any bike related to jawa brand. Cause my experience with the brand is disastrous.
I had jawa 42, caught rust everywhere in 2 years, replaced 6 batteries in 2 years, replaced ECU, magnetic coil, RR unit, complete wiring of the bike.. still the bike was damaging the batteries by overcharging.
Jawa’s post buying service experience is also worst. No experienced workforce.
So i sold it. I think will try this brand after 3-4 years as i think these brands are reviving themselves and need lot of thing for R&D including time.
I have used classic 350, standard 350, Harley 750 street, Classic 500, Thunderbird 350, Suzuki Gixxer, Interceptor 659 (current bike).
