    The invader kills on the cleans, and is tighter/punchier on the distorted parts.

      Agreed. It had a lot of boomy lows, though, I replaced it with a pair of Duncan Solars (thanks to Marko Makinen)

    Invaders were definitely more balanced with distortion, not as bass heavy as the Jackons which made it sound muddy. Love the enhanced bass on the cleans thought, really nice overall.👌Very informative review!

However for the lead parts the invaders have the edge, we can see the harmnics of the notes your playing on the graph, ouuuh baby. hehe

The only thing was biting me was clean channel... tough it was a good clean tone but I wanted that to be more clean... Now I've switched to Fishman Fluence Modern man this pups are really good... I've tried many other pickups... In my list For clean there would be PRS stock pickups, Strat Pickups and FF modern. for drity I would like Invader, FFM,

    I'm not an expert but imho I seriously don't think the Jacksons were wired, setup, and/or toned in right(I'm guessing straight from the factory). I know there can be some distinct differences between pickups but the differences shouldn't be THAT extreme. Pickups are usually really simple and as long as your base components are of at least decent quality you should be able to crank out some good sound. But hey, I could be wrong.

    • @AleArzMusic
      @AleArzMusic  3 года назад

      Hello Leet 🧇! Yes maybe they weren't properly setup from the factory, we're talking about the lowest end 7 string guitar Jackson produces, so it's totally possible! Thanks for commenting, I'm selling those pickups if anybody is interested!

    • @AleArzMusic
      @AleArzMusic  3 года назад +1

      Alright. The Marshall you described is a small compact amp, so it may not be the best solution if you want to try to emulate Metallica's tone (they used both JCM800 and Mesa Boogies Dual Rectifiers).
      But, with amp sims like Amplitube, it will just work fine. You can upgrade the Dinky JS32Q with some original Seymour Duncan pickups, to get even more good tone out of your guitar

    • @patrickshannon122
      @patrickshannon122 3 года назад +2

      Js 32 are good for metallica stuff but. Jackson stock pick ups are average metal pick ups with a set of Seymour Duncan or EMG Pick ups would be a better upgrade for getting metallica sounds. Jackson stock pick ups are great for getting the sound almost to a metallica type tone.

      Hey man! 99% of the time I'm using .022 microfarads, since I'm always playing guitars equipped with humbuckers, so I'll get a brighter sound because of the higher cutoff of the frequencies! Feel free to experiment, though, some people like to use .033 uF, since they are somewhere in between .022 uF and .047 uF!
